Ok so I've just noticed with this person, there is a lot of talk and not really doing much. Not just in the relationship but with work or other priorities...talks a lot about doing stuff but doesn't actually do it! Is there an explanation in chart/Am I overlooking something?

Ahh, I'm kind of freaked out.
I'm also an Aries Sun. (also 22 degres!), Scorp Moon, Mercury in Taurus, Venus Pisces, and Mean Node in Aqua.

I know Aries, like to be able to do everything wheather they can or can't.

Might be because of the cradle pattern.. http://www.lunarliving.org/astrology/grandsextile_cradle.shtml

Well well well, Sag ASC conjunct Jupiter and Neptune all in Sag! There is your answer haha And with the Neptune in there adds some delusion to it and an Aries Sun intensifies it all.
I'm not surprised.

I have studied charts with kite formation, and I personally know people with it,and I can tell u even with such a specific influences, answer isn't them; cradle pattern,in ur case. With Kite pattern, the most noticible thing was the oppositon; people were coloured by it,I had tp dig really hard to find glimpses of trines,no matter how they were exact!
With this chart, that Asc Jupiter... U can't pass it! Jupiterian is person of megalonamity, big words, desire for elite and most often, expectation that life will be great to them and that everything will just come to them. Tey enjoy now,and without any thought od tomorrow, there is no need for action. Blissful idleness.

I second the Jupiter right on Asc - must feel so bloody good!

I have a 1st house Jupiter, but its kept in check by my Asc ruler-Saturn conjunction.
Man am I envious of the 'chill, take it easy' crowd.

OT question to VenusDiSirius:

Do you use North/South Nodes as points in aspect formation? In particular, in your kite samples?

Redstar,I don't use them,I tried to incorporate Asc/Mc,and yes, although u can see that that it works,u see that specific energy, the point with points is that they carry the element of just recieving; points soak in,no reciprocity. No true reciprocity,as one can find when there are all planets, like match among planets. I do pay attention with t-squares,when Asc or Mc suffers two squares, but they r not as productive and altering as one with 3 planets.
I remember one kite formation, girl had exact Sun/NN conj; one of those pretty and peachy charts where all the potential is used and where u have good chart and good person! I get suspicious when there r too many trines Also, out of practice,I've learned that the hardest opposition to have within kite is Moon oppo Mercury.

Thank you for your reply
I was wondering because I also found the Nodes not to reciprocate in aspect configurations and was wondering if others had similar results - as some published authors assert that they do sue these points!

Don't trust the Trines

Interesting to know about the Moon-Mercury opposition in a kite formation.
Do you think its because these two planets are so integral to a person's personality?

Yes,really hard to have mind and soul at two different ends... ! But,I suppose that good Sun/Moon connection would fix it.

His personality can be described by house 1, while his way of talking is described by house 3.

As the action you are looking for is inaction, I guess you need to look at his personality (house 1) to see what is wrong. I would expect a negative aspect to Venus from the 1st ruler, maybe even Mars. Why? 1st house/Mars is a person who does things, whereas the opposite house 7/Venus is a person who doesn't do much. A person who lacks energy. Libran's have always been said to be lazy....as a general interpretation.

You get me....

I can be guilty of this - especially over the past few years. I prefer it when I can take action, though (or when I stifle fears or procrastination, and just go for it). I have Venus in Gemini, which might be similar to his Venus in the 3rd house; I was wondering about his 12th house Moon, but my sister has that, and she tends to go for things.

I'm also wondering about Saturn opposed the Moon, and Saturn in the 6th. Mars, Saturn and Pluto look to be in a grand trine (?) and I've read that trines can make one lazy, if certain things come easily to you. Mercury in the 5th, aspecting Jupiter/Neptune might also be a big talker.

(I'm just guessing. I don't often try to dissect the charts of people I don't know.)

I think the big talk would come from inconj of Taurus Merc to Jup/Neptune on ASC. He's strong in Sagittarius, ASC, Jupiter at home in Sagittarius, then Jupiter as ASC ruler conj ASC v.closely. So the good life is his calling card. The Sagittarius cannot follow through on Merc Taurus intentions. Mutables aren't people who complete things, they'll fly in and out of the action midway to add their part, but you don't really know how long they'll stick around. An idealistic person, but the Jupiter inclines to laziness. However Mars is exalted in Capricorn and altho it's grand trine Pluto and Saturn, it's also sq to Uranus which gives erratic energy. Mars and Sun Cardinal incline to starting projects but he may get suddenly bored cos of Uranus. Mars is focused in the 2nd and rules the 5th so he may be concerned with what he can get from h5 matters like hobbies and love affairs. Also Merc rules the MC in the 5th so you can see there also where his mind is at.
He has NN 3rd in Aqua so part of his life intention is not really on the material plane anyway, more on toying around with ideas and the connections he can make from seemingly disparate parts. NN ruler is Uranus in the 10th, obv its sq Mars, but its placement in the 10th could give a hint to career possibilities. Also MC ruler Merc in h5 also points to a creative mind. He could be a really good 'idea man' in some field, as a contractor maybe, stepping in when needed and then when someone more detail oriented is on board could swiftly make his exit. Sun in Aries also points to working for himself as they like to be entrepreneurs. It's right on the h5 cusp so it looks like he wants to be a stand out in some capacity, esp keeping in mind the Sadge Jupiter on his ASC and Pluto on MC. He could be really good at self promotion obviously.

I was thinking of Uranus' erratic energy disrupting it, too. I meant to add that. I knew a Taurus with Sun, Moon and Mercury all opposing Uranus; he followed through if he worked in short bursts - like completing something over the course of a week, and then working up. Add in transiting Uranus square Mars/Saturn, though, and he's even more inconsistent - unless it's in his obstinacy concerning certain things.
