Hey you guys, I'm having a hard time with my natal and solar return Mars.In my natal chart I have sun conjunct mars in Libra within 1 degree and they are both the focal point of my cardinal t-square. The missing leg is Aries, Mars' ruler. My only real issue is that all interpretations of Sun conjunct Mars just.. aren't me. I hate conflict of any sort (Libra sun and moon). I guess I just don't really feel the Mars in me and I don't know how it fits in my life. Honestly the only thing I can equate to such a strong placement of Mars is my out-of-control sex drive...? Anyway, I did my SR for 2011/2012 and I have SR Mars tightly conjunct my natal ascendant. Please help me with my Mars' placements?  IP: Logged |

Because it's so close to your sun it could be hard for you to separate the energies to see what does what. Mars is about how we take action and in Libra would suggest that you seek to achieve through compromise...mars doesn't have to mean aggression and being martial. It's "how we get what we want". because of the focus on aries right now it may be that over the next few weeks you'll be able to do more work with that T square and uranus will be in orb for the next 4 or 5 years ( I clicked off your chart and can't remember the degrees your sun and mars are at). Maybe keep a diary the next time mars is in libra and see how you are communicating with those close to you. Or maybe there will be events with neighbours or siblings that play it out...(3rd house matters) that out of control sex thing is more likely to be your venus and pluto ...in fact I'd put money on it. Mars is one of the planets whose meaning has always confused me in my chart and I think I haven't taken the time to really get to understand its energy and effect. But stating it's how we get what we want actually makes a lot of sense. The blending of Mars and the Sun seems so powerful since the sun is my chart ruler+focal planet and mars is the missing leg's aries' ruler+focal planet. I suppose I don't feel that energy I should because both planets are heavily afflicted with squares. And by channeling Aries that is how I will release both planetary energies? I need more energy/fire in my life I'm thinking? And yes, you're right. I always seem to overlook that pluto/venus conjunction... in Scorpio of all places! IP: Logged |
