From Redstar:I have very little attachment to material things,including the physical body, which is not always a good thing. I do have to pay extra attention to things like eating,routines and finances and health, because otherwise I forget to eat When I got my progressed venus to enter taurus - Hallelujah!!! It's like a whole new world opened up for me of earthly pleasures.
Physical sensation suddenly became tangible, textures, smells and tastes were amplified - I was amazed at what I never before 'noticed' due to my lack of earth.
I gotta say I am envious of people with earth placements now. I think I have reacted in a textbook manner to this void of Earth planets by trying to compensate through engaging in the earth element themed activities - I am a forest ecologist and a naturopath career-wise, both of which bring me into the earthy realm. What about you? Oh and to be on topic, it must be the fixed modality that also figures into this stubbornness of scorps. ------------------

What interesting careers,Redstar.
I am surprised an earth void would work with the earth.
Is compensating a common response to voids?------------------

 Thank you for carrying it over.
I posted another reply in the 'other' thread to you oops.From what I know, apparently the compensation is pretty common. I guess its one way of working with an element that you natally lack, that is if you need to. Its funny, because although I enjoy what I do, it would've been much easier for me to pursue a music or art related career, but that would've been taking the easy way out. Looking forward to your take on things

)In my opinion your mars being in water totally makes you a 'sweetheart' of a scorpio. With all those 8th placements and Pluto MC you are definitely Plutonic, but perhaps the mars in cancer (and I am guessing Pluto in Libra?) soften the harshness of Scorpio in you - dare I say they also probably make you extra intuitive and it is perhaps due to that heightened intuition that you are less likely to 'lash out' and sting, even though you could if you REALLY wanted to. Coupled with that nicely placed moon (unless its afflicted) you certainly would rather heal than harm with your Scorpio energy. Just my 0.02 cents worth

Dear Redstar,
I feel badly if I hurt someone.I will fight back but am ,virtually,never aggressive. I can sting if I am driven to it ,badly.lol
However,it is rare that I am pushed this far. My Cancer moon makes ,only, one major aspect , a 7 degree conjunction with Mars.
I have an exact semi sextile between moon and Venus.
Other than that,I have an unaspected Gemini Venus in the 7th house with Taurus on the cusp.
I have strong Neptune(in the 12th house trine Merc and Sun in the 8th house)Neptune is my most accessible energy
The Scorpio /Pluto is the least integrated energy in my chart if you don't count Nessus

I am struggling with the Scorpio/Pluto placements.
I am afraid of the energy. It is ,perhaps,the most powerful energy of all.
It feels like nuclear power to me.
It feels scary for me to access it.
How do you feel about this,Redstar?
Anyone else can comment, too PS I will discuss the earth void,later lol ------------------
