The longest and toughest horse race in the world is on tomorrow, Saturday 9th April at 16:15 at Aintree, England.

You can use the sporting life or racing post website to make your predictions as all the horse birth dates, and race information are there.

A good chance to test astrological skills. Taken me a few hours to rectify about 15 of them so far.

Looking forward to see how IQ predicts this one!

Even if you know nothing about horse racing, you can do it on a pure astrology level.

I've rectified 18 horses in the last few hours. Here are the Ascendants of all 18, done correctly, I hope. Pretty good at this

Just done the horses with lowest odds between 9/1 and up to 30/1, so you will have to check the outsiders. Some great aspects for the more favourites horses, so don't think many outsiders will get a chance.

Hello Bud - CANCER
Comply Or Die - GEMINI
Don't Push It - TAURUS
What A Friend - PISCES
Big Fella Thanks - SAGITTARIUS
Ballabrigs - AQUARIUS
The Midnight Club - LIBRA
Silver By Nature - GEMINI
Backstage - VIRGO (not sure)
Oscar Time - LIBRA
Quinz - ARIES
Niche Market - AQUARIUS
Majestic Concorde - CANCER
Becauseicouldntsee - SAGITTARIUS
State Of Play - AQUARIUS
Bluesea Cracker - ARIES
Character Building - TAURUS
Arbor Supreme - PISCES

I have gone for THE MIDNIGHT CLUB to win, with each way (to place and/or win) bets on NICHE MARKET and BLUESEA CRACKER.

Having rectified The Midnight Club, I thought I had my winner, so put my bet on. The I found these other two horses which are as good, if not better.

I think Bluesea cracker will be the best performing horse (make it round in good time or achieve whatever ability it has) and has a great chance of winning. Likely to take the lead at the start, and stay there.

While Niche Market didn't finish the race last year, he/she is at the peak of it's fame and should have a very strong run.

I don't see dates of birth in the Racing Post for the horses, you got a link?

If you could pass on the dates of birth for the ones you've written down, I'd like to have a stab at predicting the winner

How did you rectify their charts? I'm assuming its based on past wins?

I invented a method, and yes, on wins, and also big losses. I could have done it also from the sales, but you have to pay for that information.

I've been rectifying tens of thousands of sports people, horses, and celebs, every day for the past far too many years. You could say I'm an expert. Book on the way.

Just go for whatever works for you. We have a lot of experts here, it seems.

Took me about 3 hours with time to make a burger, go to the shops, and play with the cats. Slacking this year.

Oh man, quite laborious!

I'd bet on Don't Push It and stick an extra on Santa's Son (outside chance I know), but quite a few of them look good. Santa's son has a bad Jupiter/Saturn aspect, but also has a Sun, Mercury and Jupiter conjunct Venus and trine Chiron.

Don't Push it has a good Venus/Mars connection and a Jupiter/Mars connection. That should speed him up.

All you people give interpretation for friends and random strangers on here. But when it comes to predicting, it all goes quiet. C'mon, where is the fun on this site? Don't be scared, it's a good fun exercise which can improve your astrology.

You need not know anything about horse racing. Just pure astrology here.

Last years winner was Don't push it. Do you think that astrology was good enough to win the race? Character building has the same aspect as Don't push it did last year, so you never know.
I guess some might think what to do with a Taurus riser.

Santas Son is AQUARIUS rising, I think. I say that it falls early on.

1st BallaBriggs (IRE) 14/1
2nd Oscar Time (IRE) 14/1
3rd Don't Push It (IRE) 9/1
4th State of Play 28/1
5th Niche Market 16/1

Don't Push It AND State Of Play place. Did better than me on them guesses. Hope you put a nice tidy bet on.

I backed my 3 horses and then had a FREE bet on BALLABRIGS to win so not out of pocket by too much.

Ballabrigs is Gemini rising, not Aqua. I dithered between the two, that's why I didn't put a larger bet on it.

Charts on the way.

Pluto +125 to Mercury. Mercury -125 to Pluto. Perfect combined orb. Can see why it won.

Any comments on the astrology of this race, even the winners, assuming they have been rectified correctly.

C'mon even women must like horses. Is that the reason?

Interesting to see a Mars/Uranus conjunction to the winner's natal Venus. Wish I'd seen that and I might have put something on Ballabrigs.
