Hey Everybody
Pluto turns retrograde tomorrow morning, I wrote some stuff up for my blog
http://apolloandthelycan.blogspot.com/

Has anyone got a strong Pluto transit at the moment? The retrograde phase suggests more intensity for the house Pluto is transiting, any planets currently receiving an aspect from Pluto are likely to be brought up into focus.

Hi Dysfunctionalmystic
I have my natal moon at 8 Cancer in the 8th house.
Pluto is at 7 Cap,I think.

THIS is my question,do *I* look at the natal chart to see what Pluto is doing or do I look at the Progressed chart and see where my moon is there,by house and sign?

Thanks so much

Hey, that's me. tPluto has been going over my SN in 9th house now for a loonnnggg time. (SN at 4 degrees, Cap). Right now, tPluto is in a trine with my ASC (6 degree, Taurus), and nUranus (6 degrees, Virgo, 5th house). Yeah, I have a Grand Trine going with tPluto hitting my ASC and nUranus.

So with tPluto again going over my SN in the 9th, what can I possibly see/expect?

One thing I have noticed is that the times tPluto has been directly on top of my SN, I go through a period of depression. Not sure why that is, but I seem to get into a Blue Funk. After tPluto goes off the SN, I do feel much better.

Thanks!

this is a little scary to me, for my partner who has been going through a very very trying period of his life. tr. Pluto is conjunct his AC right now, and Saturn is square to it too.

for me too, my progressed AC is touched by the Pluto (so my pr.AC conjuncts my partner's Natal AC...). Natally, Pluto just finished a looooooooooooooong transit over all my 1st house planets. but when it goes retro, it almost goes back to the last planet Mercury. a little revisiting...

i expect that our lives will be split. not in a physical sense as breaking up, maybe, but we will just not have anything for each other and provide all we have for our own selves. i feel a pretty lonely time of struggling and clearing things up ahead of me and him...

Hey Ami, I'd look at the natal chart and see what Pluto is doing in there and do the same if you're looking at the progressed chart. I'm not sure that the progressed Moon itself will be relevant unless it is being aspected by tr Pluto.

If there is significant stuff with the progressed Moon then you'd need to interpret that "separately" to the Pluto stuff.

CosmicKarma - Pluto going over your south node would be throwing up issues related to your "former" life, because it's taking place in the 9th it could be things connected to your perspective/beliefs..basically how you see things. You'll probably find that when Pluto has finished with your SN that you will look at life very differently to what you did before. The trines should act as support and because of the houses involved it should mean that your expression and your personality find it easy to reflect the changes that are taking place in your 9th house. I don't know you but the depression could be anger that has been (or is being) suppressed.

Lechien - I had the Pluto over my asc many years ago when it was in Scorpio...Ami will have had it too, I was still quite young at the time though I remember being put through many trials and I was shown a few harsh realities about life.

His outward personality is what needs to be transformed...but with Capricorn I imagine that things are very "serious" and forcing issues of self discipline to the surface is possible. Pluto definitely pushes the need for being able to sustain your own self that's for sure. It'll be Saturn that cools things though and forces isolation (if there is any?)

But yeah Pluto and struggle do seem to like walking hand in hand.

Pluto in conjunction with Mars would bring up issues that are connected to action and control. I would imagine energy levels to be quite high especially with Jupiter in the picture. A positive expression could be exercise or some other physical discipline, which house is it? Focus could be very good during these transits as could endurance. I imagine you'll get by on less sleep at this time.

As for events? That's anyone's guess but issues could arise around power struggles...either you or someone else. You could meet people that are powerful on a psychological level. But I'd need to see a chart. The retrograde phase may see an increase in intensity in events or inner stuff that's connected but I really need to see a chart to be more precise.

okay, so the arena this plays out in is more likely to be connected to friends/groups that you associate with. They may try to dominate you or you may try to be the source of power to them, your ideals could also undergo some sort of transformation in regards to the ideals you currently hold. You may be more sensitive to vibes and undercurrents that are present within any "groups" you are connected to.

Astrology is also an 11th house subject and your interest could deepen. Pluto in the 11th could also deepen your awareness about the things you are passionate about. Ideals that are important to you...you will fight harder to make them reality.

Pluto is also quincunx your chiron...this kind of stands out for me...in the 4th there could be a few things that come up regarding your past/family/home....especially if they have a relevance to your ideals.

Transiting Pluto is in H7 squaring my natal Moon, Mercury and Venus which are all sitting in H10, trine my natal Jupiter which is in H9, conjunct my natal Neptune in H7, and sextile my natal Pluto in H5. It's also sextile my Midheaven and opposing my Ascendant. What does this mean for me? :S

Curbro I am now drunk and will answer tomorrow but you're definitely looking at your relationships for being the stage. Because it's in the 7th is likely you'll see the Pluto in others but maybe not so easy to see it in yourself. Has this particular person already turned up? Pluto was at 5 degrees cap right back in march 2010, it ht again in dec 2010 and jan 2011. You have further hits in aug 2011 and oct/nov 2011.

If any "situation" or issue began around march 2010 it's going to be nov 2011 before you are fully aware of exactly what is going on.

Wow! Thanks SO much! Yeah, that makes such sense. Even though I'm going through *major* changes, (trying to find a job, can't seem to get one in my old profession, and trying to create new opportunities) I wondered why I was finding this transition time so much easier than other times. Guess it's the whole trine thing. Thanks again!

You can also look at transits to Composite's also right?

T. Pluto just is just starting to square Venus in Aries and then Square Moon/Pluto in Lib..

I cant do this again...

LMAO. Poor Lioness. I'm so sorry. You sound so frantic and defeated. Transits are just that. Do what you need to. Everything starts with a thought and you alone rule your future. It'll be okay, Ms Thang. ; )

Hm... My tpluto is in my 9th house trine my ASC it's conjunct my Uranus, Neptune, almost my Saturn.

I have Pluto retro in my natal chart though, so not sure if that will make it easier or not.

Not sure what this means, but I'm pretty sure most of my transits are horrible right now. lol

Hey Curbro, I just looked at your chart, Pluto has finished with your Mercury, it does go back to 4 degrees of capricorn during this phase and will be very close to your venus but it won't be exact so in effect it's also finsihed with your venus.

your moon - pluto won't even start on that until early 2016.

It will be conjoining your neptune again which can symbolise a major transformation on an inner level and you might find that your beliefs are questioned (by you) your interests in astrology, psychology could deepen as you try to increase your understanding. Because of the place it transtits in your chart I'm wondering if it will be the hidden dynamics in relationships that you look at most closely.

Jo-jo it looks like you already had your butt kicked. Pluto has recently done a transit over your moon and squared you saturn, this says that late 2008 - early 2010 was a very intense period psychologically and emotionally....and tr saturn was also squaring your moon and ooposing your saturn at this time. Was it a particularly difficult time for you?

It's the uranus transits that will be affecting you most strongly over the next couple of years.

blugrey - it'll be the pluto transit to saturn that could be the most challenging, it'll be asking you to see if the structures you have built are strong and if not then you may have some rebuilding to do...depends on the rest of your chart.
