Topic: What astro combo does this sound like?

So if we have someone (male) stating what they expect in relationships, looking at a woman's power, at a woman who has the power to save or torment them, what astro combo does that feel like?(I'm gonna just comment that it sounds a bit dramatic to me, but that's my op, am looking for others!) Relationship expectations we usually think house 7, planets placed therein, and also the ruler, and for a man Moon/Venus. What combo has the power to save and torment? If these are this person's expectations in relationships what would you expect to see in these sectors of the chart? Or just any combo you think may lead to this? I think it's too broad, there are too many possibilities, he may be loaded with Neptune and just want looking after, or he could be projecting his own qualities which he has disowned, or he may have tons of Aries and want a sparring partner....and that's just for starters. IP: Logged |

One of these possibilities;My pisces always wanted to be saved by a strong woman because of his extreme addiction sensitivity but he didn't seem to be aware of the other "tormented" side such a woman would bring in.
That's exactly why *I* don't want to be saved; I can't deal with a tyrant!
His mom told me she was and had to be because when he was young he couldn't see/feel ANY danger/limit and had an aggresive nature (otherwise he wouldn't have survived his mom told me as he was born 3 months premature).
When he left her tyrannnical wings to spread his own (at age 18) he ended up in a world full of parties & addiction and more than once in addiction clinics - nobody to 'save' him anymore..
At one day he decided to left the whole drugs-scene and he moved miles away.. to another part of the country. That was just ONE step forward.. So yes, we were pretty much opposites in this area of partner-expectation when we met. I always felt/noticed this longing for his mom, after all he 'went through hell' after he left her. It frustated me a LOT because I'm anything but a tiran/saver!
The good news now is that I see changes in him ... finally! His Sun (=chartruler) square his Neptune in the 5th.
He has an Aqua-venus in 7th trine Mars and his desc-ruler (Uranus 4th) is only square his asc/des axis. IP: Logged |

I thought Pisces ,right off the bat ,if there are "savior" issues. ------------------

If he STATES it, rather than just DOES the game playing,you can rule out Scorpio  ------------------

lol The only guy who ever found me interesting has Aries Venus (sq my venus/saturn) and Neptune cj asc in cap... If it went anywhere I would have ended mothering him... so we're just friends, plus he had to go back home...

Pisces Definitely..
They are drawn to the more powerful women of the zodiac,yet don't want to be controlled or told what to do.They really need a powerful,smart woman,that is clever enough to know this,and give him the space and direction he needs without coming off as too aloof or clingy/motherly.A delicate balance that may drive a woman mad if she is not a experienced tight rope walker.Most women would probably do the opposite and end up controlling/manipulating him without even knowing it,and the Fish would live in agony,and self destruct.IP: Logged |

Yea Neptune hit me too, but does Neptune torment the other? Not in the sense of physical beatings or anything, just playing mind games with the person and have the man basically hanging by a thread not knowing if she still wants him, dangling the potential of love in his face and then playing him like cat and mouse, that's what torment sounds like to me.
God I would really hate to be a man  Mir, thanks for sharing about the addiction reference, the mother is a possibility.. .

OT about Aries Venus, come on they are tame! They want the women to make the 1st move, what's so bad?? (I love Aries  )

Starzy are you thinking Pisces or Neptune on the 1st may bring this? I have such limited experience with Pisces risings, which means none lol.

Scorpio Venus was my thought - reading that.I'm not sure that Aries Venus would be that emotional about it. Save and torment... are a bit too 'heavy' for Aries. Aries Venus men definitely love strong women --- but they don't like being psychologically or emotionally tormented by them.
Scorpio Venus men can have a desire for this though ^ (at least in my exp with them). I would also add men with close Venus/Pluto aspects. IP: Logged |
