I've a friend. We share a DW Moon opposite Pluto. My Moon in Aries, his moon in Taurus. That difference alone is enough to drive my impatience and impulsiveness insane.

Anyhow... This aspect can be so subversive. And only because of my astrological knowledge am I aware of when it is happening. Its scary. The control, power struggles for dominance and never wanting to surrender to the powerful feelings of this connection.

I guess the keyword is surrender. Surrendering to Pluto's transformative impact upon the each other's Moon. But how? It seems so scary, like I'll lose myself in the loose grip I already seem to have on reality.

Anyone else experience this?

This aspect is nothing for weak people who wants peace in the life. If you want an eventfully life and deeply change....jump and test what will happen...

I think my astrologer side is frantically trying to figure out what it is that needs to change so that I can just get on with it. But its so different when you are in it. Its magnetizing for sure yet so dark and heavy...

Ahhhh, Moon opp Pluto...the worst & the best aspect ever...It torments, but in the worst of times, it gives you strenght to carry on...Strong emotions, sometimes it feels like you're going mad, but you love it, you'd never give up that feeling...At least, that's what's it like for me...

I have 1H Moon in Taurus (Aries asc), 7H Pluto, and it feels sometimes like I'm at war with the whole world. I only have one real friend, and it's the best friend a person could ever have, loyal, supportive & full of care for me, also very intelligent, gets me, knows what I'm all about...Luckily, she's not like me and doesn't have this nasty aspect, and when I say nasty, I mean nasty for others who have to deal with the person who has it, and God knows I'm a difficult person...

This is a synastry aspect not natal. My Moon opposes his Pluto and his Moon opposed my Pluto.

I don't think it is necessarily a "bad" aspect.
Pluto touching the moon is it's own thing,it's own taste,it's own spice,it you will.

It is once in a lifetime,*I* think.

@ Ami
I;m seeing how natal aspects, transits to natal and the people that come into our lives at the time of the transit all are connected. both of us have several planets in early cardinal signs. my moon in aries, jupiter, neptune and ascendant in capricorn. his venus/IC in capricorn, pluto/ascendant in libra, saturn/MC in cancer. so we are both going through multiple pluto transits. somehow we represent pluto to the other person in the way out charts interact.

awwww, it's not that bad, it just challenges you to the core lol

seriously, its great for soul searching and helping to shine a light on the subconscious, if you find it gets heavy then do something to lighten it up, go for a walk, go to the beach, draw fairies, bake cakes.... anything, and keep a diary of the emotions that come up, might help you to keep a better perspective

look for trines that form to the moon/plutos..they'll show you how to take the pressure off.

No, I'm sure you love your friend, but with that aspect, sometimes there can be a sense of dissatisfaction with them, but you can't really pinpoint why & what's causing that...

i think its the pressure. the pressure to change, to let go and surrender. there is a lot of scorpio energy between the two of us as well as saturnine energy. don't get me wrong, we do have fun. but sometimes its feels like a pressure cooker or something is forcing us to grow up. but i also know that because of the transits, if it weren't him, it would be someone else.

there is a lot of love and devotion between us. but neither one of us wants to surrender. i realize that is exactly what i need to do...surrender. change is inevitable, resistance is futile. a work in progress for sure.

Certain aspects are like thousands of dollars worth of therapy lol
To benefit from them, you have to FORCE yourself to be real, show your real face.
Then, you will FIND your real self,if it is lost.
What does anything matter if you are a false self?

Moon/Pluto falls in this category as does Nessus to personal planets, imo

Thank you Darling Popcorn
Having been a professional counselor and seen countless people stay the SAME with therapy,I appreciate those aspects that force you to change,if you are willing and courageous.
The courage is the hard part lol

I am afraid ,now,too Electricmind
I want to be real MORE than I want to be safe.
That was the turning point for me, that decision.
I have to make it ,again and again.
My Moon/Pluto relationship was the start.
His Nessus was an exact conjunction to my Sun,also
That is another therapy aspect, lol

I agree with you completely. Every change could be good if it's uses right. Pluto/nessus squares/opposition to the personal give an garantii and growth in some way. I love that,,,but that's me.

If I was electricmind I will never be afraid to meet DW moon-pluto. Tension and strong feelings..

@popcorn

thank you. we've been friends since october. we started hanging out under the new moon in libra. its been passionate and full of excitement. but also very much feeling the restraining influence of saturn. pragmatism and maybe some fear too. but now it feels like pluto is getting to work! and its scary for me. pluto demands authenticity and i have definitely been hiding. i feel like he has too but he is hard pressed to admit it.

i've been well acquainted with pluto and the feeling he brings like there is nothing to hold onto and being on the brink of losing everything...i know something beautiful comes to replace it. growth and change is never ending for sure. gotta take the leap! expose myself...
