Just recently read about Magi astrology. Can anyone having their software tell me if the chart generated on it have similar aspect degrees to the one on Astro.com.As per my synastry chart on Astro.com,I have a Romantic Mystical Triangle with someone special.
My astro.com synastry chart has the following:

My Neptune in 8 deg 32' Scorpio trines my Chiron in 5 deg 46' Pisces squares his Venus 8 deg 35' in Gemini and quincunx my Neptune(less than 1 deg orb) I heard that this romantic mystic triangle is very rare.

My question is:will my synastry show the same aspects on their software? Obviously,I do not want to become a member just to check if I do have this mystic triangle with someone...LOL...too expensive

Thanks in advance.

From what I have read Magi Astrology uses Heliocentric charts..

You can still see this on Astro..

In the options section under zodic
change western geocentric (tropical) to
Heliocentric (tropical)

This is my understanding of it..

Also they use a max of 3orbs..

Planets change signs..

Here's how mine changes

Natal/Helio
sun leo /earth aqua
moon leo /aqua
merc leo/aqua
venus can/pis
mars leo/virgo

In Helio I have an air G.trine.. but not in my natal.

Hi Mermaid,

The Magi Society’s software, AstroGeometry is exceptionally versatile and will have the same aspect degrees as Astro.com and will show the same synastry as you presented.

In Magi Astrology the configuration you presented would indeed be considered a Romantic Mystic triangle as all three planets, Neptune-Chiron and Venus, reside within the Magi Astrology subset of romantic planets. In addition, the triangle is formed by a trine, quincunx and square, and each aspect is within Magi Astrology orbs. This configuration can reflect tremendous romantic allure and magnetic attraction if this person is “your type.” However, it is just one element out of several in your synastry and I would encourage you to incorporate all of the noteworthy connections in the synastry chart prior to forming a firm opinion on the prevailing astrological energy at play.

Also, be aware that while the Romantic Mystic Triangle may be a critical element in establishing a strong romantic connection and serve to bring you two together in a romantic relationship, it will not, in and of itself, necessarily keep you together.

Several years back the Magi Society published a very informative article that focuses on Mystic Triangles using Madonna and her three great loves as examples. This might be helpful to you http://www.magisociety.com/madonna_leone.htm

HI Lioness,

Magi Astrology uses more than just the heliocentric dimension. Magi Astrology uses four astrological dimensions; Geocentric Longitudes (the standard earth centered chart that most mainstream astrologers are familiar with), Geocentric Declinations, Heliocentric Longitudes ( a Sun centered chart that represents what the Solar system looked like if you were standing on the Sun), and Heliocentric Latitudes.

The Magi Society has discovered through their research that the heliocentric dimensions in astrology are of equal value and importance to the geocentric dimensions in astrology and therefore Magi Astrologers use all four dimensions at all times and then synthesize the information from all dimensions into a cohesive whole interpretation. This would include natal charts, transit charts, event & historical charts, financial charts, synastry charts, progressed charts, progressed to transit charts, etc….

Magi Astrology only uses signs for the purpose of identifying planetary positions, and therefore when planets are in different signs in different dimensions, i.e. your Venus in Cancer in the geocentric longitudes and in Pisces in the heliocentric longitudes, within the realm of Magi Astrology that is not considered to be significant, as Magi Astrology primarily focuses on aspects, multiple planetary alignments, and their corresponding planetary geometry.

Thanks to Lioness and JayR for your replies.

JayR,I did check the heliocentric chart on astro.com but I find the degrees of the inner planets change and not just the signs.I do understand the change in signs from Geocentric to Heliocentric but why would the degrees change? or do we have to use all the four charts available only on their software to come to conclusion for aspects and patterns in synastry?
