Topic: Communication,Virgo in 8th house, is it really a problem..?

I am 16 years old and I was born with my sun sign , Virgo in 8th house. I do have "otherworldy" powers..I can see ghosts to and spirits and I am super sensitive and empathic.. it used to be a problem because I would feel overwhelmed in public..I feel things very deeply and I don't generally think anyone else understands that.. When I was little.. I used to talk a lot but it was only things that I knew, I didn't really get along well with others. I was always by myself either reading, drawing, thinking,or playing. I am a good poet, artist,and instrument player , I can give good speeches, don't get me wrong but.. I have to write it down and organize it or think over it. I don't put myself lower than others to try to fit in.. like at school.. I always was the odd one..and other kids would do stuff to fit in..but i refuse/refused to be unhappy just to fit in .. I do what I like,wear what I like etc. :/ I am nice but then at the same time, I don't and won't lie just to get along with someone, if I don't like you.. I will not fake like I do but at the same time I treat you with respect I give everyone even though they don't deserve it.. I have communication skills,but then, I don't.. There is only one person who understands me and it's my boyfriend,not even my friends understand me deeply.. I used to get teased and stuff to when I was younger.. and people assume that I mean things that I don't and make nothing into something and then try to tell metehy're sorry for misunderstanding, why is it that people think I would be indirect at what I say, when I have something to say, I say it to the person's face. I am quiet but i'm not fearful. I was wondering, is this really a problem? I feel awkward in public places with a lot of people still and I generally don't like talking. ( I am very quiet) I was wondering, is this really a problem?How can I get over it if i've always been this way.. and if I feel weird and out of place when I do talk to a lot of people? and I generally don't really like people? ------------------

I really don't see any problems with any of your placements or behaviors. Obama has Virgo 8th house with Pluto, and it works for him, and it works for us too. It looks like you will be able to channel all your insecurities creatively and that it should already become a focus in your life, to help you build healthy boundaries around yourself. I was just curious if your Neptune and Uranus are in the 12th house, giving you the psychic abilities?

It's Sag.My sun sign is Virgo, i'm new to astrology and I recently found that my sun is in the 8th house(Virgo) and the 8th house is the house of Scorpy(death etc.) and basically how i've felt my whole life was sumed up in a few sentences,that also gives psychic ability. I remember where I was before I was born to but never really knew why. I have a grand trine in the water signs and I am sensitive to just everything(including weather changes in pressure etc. ) I can feel other people's feelings and I cry a lot.. from stuff like racism and stupidity ..

Classic Sun in the 8th.Don't worry about it you're fine, not everyone is gonna get what you're about, that's ok. You're not on the same frequency. You can't let them influence you cos they don't know what goes on inside. Stay with like minded people, you will be able to use your intuition to suss em out. You have Cancer Dsc so you'll naturally draw and be drawn to people who are watery and sensitive such as yourself. You have enough earth to ground you which is good. I know it's hard when others peg you with something that doesn't belong to you, but it's really something you're gonna have to learn to let roll off your back. As long as you know that you're going after what you need and what makes sense to you you'll be fine. The Sun in the 8th will give you ability to relate to what is written about Scorpio Suns so you may wanna read up on that. IP: Logged |

Hi,I have 8th house sun, too, but in cancer. I don't see ghosts or spirits, but do see auras, and am somewhat clair-audient, clairvoyant. I think there's no problem with not talking alot in public, unless YOU feel there's a prob. Looking at the info you posted, the only real extrovert tendency you have is the moon in aries. This suggests sometimes you really need to be impulsive, passionate and tell everyone exactly what you think. Otherwise you could up feeling frustrated (like you are banging your head against the brickwall of your own super-ego). So maybe try and find some arena of your life where you can really let go and make some noise. IP: Logged |

my partner also has his Sun (and Stellium) in the Virgo 8th house, with Sagittarius 12th house.he is too much of a rationalist to tune into his supernatural perceptions if there is any, but he is extremely empathetic to the point he feels guilty for whatever the feelings he is receiving and feels the hurt. at the same time, he is THE worst communicator EVER. because of this, for a long time i felt that he didn't care and was insensitive. i still don't fully understand why he feels certain very important things (for *normal* people) don't need to be communicated. i almost believe that he sees things from a different perspective, which is more spiritual, without him realising. i think he sees the priorities beyond verbal exchanges. it doesn't make things easy for people around him though… i have an Aries moon too. i just imagined how it might be to be in my partner's brain. *shudder*!! i'm all about communicating with directness, now! i agree with melula, don't worry about your Virgo stuff and pamper your moon for now.
