Are there any placements in the chart that are particularly helpful for spiritual development?

Generally if you choose to be "good, helpful,humble,patient" in this life, you will have plenty of development but some placements help a lot.

Best is;
-Jupiter conjunct South Node or Chiron(other easy aspects is also good)
Others;
-Chiron Aspects to North Node
-Sun-Jupiter or Chiron aspects
-Pluto-Chiron aspects
-If your have ninth house ruler is in eight house, you have "moral" inheritance which will help you to evolve.
-Chiron aspects to Neptune(with your ideals if others are aspected well, soul development is inevitable)
-Any quintile or septile aspect to Chiron or North Node
-if both jupiter and Neptune is aspected by Ceres, it gives a long life and good understanding of nurturing and spiritual knowledge
-if there are indicators of long life in your chart, your soul wants to establish a good amount of learning according to north node.
-Many planets in 9th house
-Actually in which house pluto is, there will be plenty of development if you choose to achieve in the area of that house, but first,eight,nine,twelve houses show more development.

The other others;
-Being sagittarus or pieces
-Your North Node

Bravo!! Got quite a few. Just joking. Thank you. I knew of one i.e. South Node in the 12th house. It seems it shows moksha. Well hmmmmmm..... But i dont have it. And as far as the being good, humble etc is concerned i am forced to do it anyway most of the times. Reason - All my power planets are in all the powerless placements. lol.

By the way is this list exhaustive or anybody would like to add any more?

Lol. MertSerimer, you’re funny!

You've listed the aspects and placements of your own chart. I don’t think that will be helpful.

i dont have 3-4 of them =))

Well, karmic astrologers and numerology results of my birth time and day says i am really an old soul, ofc it is really hard to be true =)) but i was really interested in predictive astrology so i went through my all aspects =))

FOR ex; this is not my line, i found that on the net, if in your chart there are indicators of "being able to heal", it should mean that at least your soul is not that young and you are here to help which means "to evolve" so it is really easy to find "spiritual development placements in natal charts" =)) we must look at the big picture(my mercury in sagittarus is talking ) .

I never equated jupiter with spiritual development.

The main thing I would say is a packed 8th house. My 8th house is dead however ruled by uranus (neptune with equal house depending on your preference). We can all take hard lives for spiritual development. Sometimes we take easy ones. That'll show in the chart.

Jupiter represents the higher mind, perspective and beliefs so I can see how it's linked to spiritual stuff.

Jupiter is at home in the 9th house which covers religion and/or philosophy.

It also rules Sagittarius, the sign which is eternally searching for meaning.

9th house for all religious/spiritual matters. Though sometimes house 12 is used.

Mertserimer, WHY do you think (if it's you and not someone else's words) all them signatures would indicate spiritual development?

I didn't mean Neptune in the 12th (damn you merc retro ), I meant strong Neptune in the chart and/or strong 12th placements...

Many of them are cited. The best one comes from Vedic astrology.
I have some of them in my natal chart. I can really see their effects. I was interested in spiritual development a month ago and i searched a lot, but i am sure they are accurate.

Aren't you interested anymore? Anyways, so we are reaping the benefits of your research. Thanks for sharing with us. Could you mention the other connected sites too so we could just look around them. If its not much of a trouble.

And yes the vedic one too. I would like to do some reading myself. Sounds interesting site to me. Thx.

A discovery on internet -

eons.com

Quote from the above site:
"Quintiles relate to the ability to translate abstract ideas into physical reality, septiles to spiritual awareness, and undeciles to healing ability."

You generally have to work out the aspects yourself if it's noviles, deciles, septiles, it's a bit time consuming but not difficult.

Thank you disfunctionalmystic. Can you tell me a site where it is mentioned how to go about the calculation. Then i can try my hand at it. And by the way may i ask what inspired you to choose this interesting name?

http://www.new-moon-epiphany.co.uk/#/aspects/4545341629

That's a link to a page on aspects on my site and there's 2 links (alice portman and zane stein) at the bottom of the page which give more info on the minor aspects.

You just need to have your birth chart to hand and see if any of the planets are 51 degrees apart...on zane stein's chart he gives details for the bi septile and bi novile etc, it's basically multiplying the original aspect by 2, 3 or 4 (or whatever).

As for the name

dysfunctional - abnormality in the function of

mystic - seeker of spiritual knowledge

there's a lot of irony in that name.

I got that irony part. Thats why asked you. In our place they say don't utter -ve things, the house is saying 'tathastu' (a sanskrit word meaning so be it). The words, they say, have so much power that when we keep saying +ve things, vibrations align themselves that way and materialise. So i will pray that it is functionalmystic. Dont misunderstand ok. I am not trying to be interfering/critical. I felt since LL is a family let me share my feelings. Thats all.

I will check the links and do some study work. Thank you so much.
