I can't stand that I'm so nice all the time. I can totally see how it would smother someone. It would smother me, too. I give people too much attention and am way too nice to them. Not to mention everything I write on facebook is so dramatic because of my leo moon. I have no filter. I'm always either in love with something or I absolutely hate it. It's just annoying. I'm so dramatic and emotional. I'm so "awwww, I'm sorry that happened to you" and "awwww that's so cute. i love it!" and I write exclamation marks and smiley faces all over the darn place. I talk about myself way too much. My attention-seeking ways and need to make every situation seem like I'm having ten times more fun than you are, are something I can't help, and I'm so easily excited, not to mention demanding towards people.

I think it's only online, but I must come off as a crazy attention-seeking loon.

Sometimes it's very annoying being a cancer with a leo moon. I need to be more objective and focus less on emotions and on making other people feel special. (read aka clingy and smothering much?)

Anybody else who can relate?

Oh, I also have venus and mars in leo. Doesn't help.

Sorry, can't say that I have the same issue. Of course, I have plenty of other flaws, lol. We're none of us perfect!

My guess is that your perception of how you are perceived by others is considerably worse than it actually is.

The world would be under-nurtured without Cancer sun-signs and boring without Leos, so don't be so hard on yourself!

hey RunsAround, yea i relate i dont have much cancer (only in Jupiter) or leo (not at all) but i have a hefty Libra sun and a very intence scorpio moon. iam very nice in person, i can never, NEVER, hurt/insult some1 even if she/he deserves it. i suck at face to face confrontation. i was always upset with myself about that,
the way i see it now its good to be a nice person these days, especialy when evryone is so goal oriented and focused on money and power. people like u and me can sleep well at night becoz we know we didnt hurt any1 and bcoz we show our true selves.

my friends dont get my "quotes" or "statuses" either :P but thats what Linda Land is for

Ha ha, I'm cancer too with leo venus and yes I am demanding and needy but hey my family really know I love them! If you're not happy with how your expressing yourself find some safe outlets: focus some of your passion and nurture on abandoned animals? Or gardening? Or finding a cause?

Look at what our your most independent placings (which house cusp is on Aquarius n Sag for example) and try and awaken those aspects of your personality!!!

Runaround.. my best friend is a Cancer with Leo-Moon and I LOVE him! (being a Leo-Sun/Scorp-Moon)

He's not the youngest anymore but what I know is that people/things in life drained him to the point he could only give to the ones he truly cared about. And believe me, they're rare to them but if you're one of them you receive the world.
It's in their lovely nature to give all the things you mention so it can't be an option to give-just-a-little-to-everyone or to give-everything-to-all.
It would ruin their best qualities!
It just takes some time to distinguish and really unite with those rare others in one mind and heart .. and when found, I can assure you it's truly worth to give your total care and attention! Because really.. it's what the *world* needs! A depth/attention for most unavailable... (I didn't even know it could exist before I met him).

I can relate to the being too nice thing because I have Venus in Pisces and Moon in Libra. Pisces feels generally empathetic, while Libra would be nice anyway to keep the piece. And then the Aqua grump takes over and then I'm mean to everyone lol.

If one is given Leo Sun,it is an absolute right to have Leo Venus,and other way around.
Being dramatic is something that has negative conotation all over; but,with Leo-influence it is the most captivating thing ever; When u say 'She is dramatic' is to mean 'womanly expressive' cuz,it is a women's quality,to be gorgeous,warm,to enter to room and to sweep everyone down with ur presence... The attitude Leo has it's what makes it so good.
I know it can be hard with Cancer and Leo bits,always torn between being sunny or moony child; I have opposite of you,but it's easy for me having DSC Mars= it flows out,whether I feel like it or not; Just enjoy it!!!

Cancers are the Sweetie Pies. I am a strong Gem,Cancer and Scorpio.
My Cancer is like yours .
It is my teddy bear side.
I am comfortable with it BUT it has overshadowed my Scorpio side cuz I was afraid of the Scorpio

Now, I am trying to bring out my Scorpio self which is very different from the Cancer ,as you well know.
I feel like I am a video game character who is being controlled by an inept kid.
I am falling in a million holes and dying a million deaths .

However,I do learn,slowly,but surely .
