My progressed moon is in my 8th house Is anyone else going through this now or went through it recently? I cannot wait for it to end. Its such a lonely and depressing time in my life. I feel trapped, I try to get out of this rut, but every time I think I can reach the top, BOOM again. And if you have gone through it how did things change for you when it left? What was the transition like?IP: Logged |

Well I think the last time I went through this was 23 or so yrs ago, so I can't speak from personal experience as I don't remember. However, you're meant to confront certain things in your nature in the 8th that may make you feel uncomfortable but it is necessary to go through the drudge in order to re-emerge in the 9th house, with renewed spiritual insight and more open to possibilities. The confrontations are good things because this is a cleansing period where things will be washed away. So you'll need to let go of unhealthy attachments. The bad thing is holding on. And if you feel some sort of depression take positive measures to heal yourself. It won't last forever, you just might be more sensitive and frightened now. Do what you need to do to regain control. Is p.Moon making harsh aspects to the natal, I wonder? Also take into account which house it rules and its natal placement, for issues that you may have to confront. IP: Logged |

8th is one of my bigger houses :\ I've read that it can be the most depressing and dark times of the cycle. Nothing looks too prominent for aspects, just a trine uranus. And an opp sun but at 9 orb. Oh there is a square ASC actually. Which house the moon rules natally? Like, which house Cancer rules? haha 8th and my natal moon is in 12.... just lovely. IP: Logged |

The 8th house is the house of the unconscious.I am studying about it on an FB Asteroid Astrology group. Sasportas says that any planet in the 8th,natally,will be a late bloomer. Perhaps,it will stay stuck as a child/teen. I have an 8th house stellium in the natal--Gem Sun,Cancer moon and Gem Merc. I can say this. *I* stayed a child in my awareness of myself. I was locked in to a child's view of myself,my own power,my ability to influence my life. It was horrible.I am just coming out of it now.

To translate it to practical terms to which you can apply the progressions,I would say this. An 8th house moon is buried in your subconscious.Your emotions, heart, the essential you is not known to you. It will NOT be until you dig it out by forcing yourself to know YOURSELF. One's life will not work unless one knows oneself ,very well. It is easier to want the outside to define the essential you. Most of us do that.In fact,it is "normal" in this day and age, maybe always.------------------ Life is lived in the sand box. The 8th house demands one to know oneself. It is a lonely journey in a way. However ,a lonelier journey is when you don't. Then, the outside defines you.It whips you around in it's storms until you are so tired that you decide to go inward. Then, you have the opportunity to go outward again with your most prized possession---yourself. ------------------ Life is lived in the sand box. I experienced similar thing- While tPluto was conj my nMoon,my progressed Moon was conj my pPluto and nPluto, since Pluto hadn't moved much. And since plutonic vibe does vibrate as H8... Just follow through. When its over and only then u'll be able to appreciate it. And evolve. (At that time I also had tSaturn through my H12)... Just follow IP: Logged |

Years ago in the late 80s. From July '88 to Sept/Oct 1990. quote: I cannot wait for it to end. Its such a lonely and depressing time in my life...
Yes. I fell into the abyss. I went into that Summer cheerful with innocence, and friendships intact. By September, I was forever scarred, that, and two BFFs transferred without telling me. Not only was I hurt and ashamed but forlorn as well. It was awful. quote: I feel trapped, I try to get out of this rut, but every time I think I can reach the top, BOOM again.
Yes. Eventually I made new friends, but once scarred I felt damaged goods. In my next class I ran into a tyrant teacher who singled me out for humiliation and shame first thing every morning. OMG!! It was unreal. Cruel cruel man. quote: And if you have gone through it how did things change for you when it left? What was the transition like?
I graduated. The themes of Sex/death/loss/shock also came up during this period. My mom kicked out by my grandparents & leaving me to live with them. This was shocking but not traumatic cause she was a bit of tyrant who took pleasure in injuring my emotions (Sun in Scorpio). ETA: this was pMoon in 19 Aries - 19 Taurus IP: Logged |

Hmm would a semi-square pluto make an impact? And square neptune 7 orb, other than that they are all large orbs.

I love 8h progressions! Don't remember the moon transit, I was too young but I find P moon in general vv relevant. I changed job and country when P moon cj natal moon exact. And now trying to survive to a P moon opp P saturn, it's still at orb, feel like after 10*Pluto!IP: Logged |
