Quick question...

I was browsing through here and read ladybate's query on what we're supposed to be learning during this Saturn transit. Then Bonadea (I think that's the name...) responded it depends on where Saturn is located in your chart and it could mean someone finds great love, someone loses a job, gets a job, etc.

Well.

Saturn is in Capricorn in my 7th house, ruled by Sagittarius ... so does that mean I'll have opportunities for romance with an Earth/fire kind of guy? Or am I not digging deep enough in my natal chart to understand this transit...

I also have Saturn in Capricorn.

I really feel Saturn affecting my Sun Sign Aries. Or my care free Sun sign at least, has the hardest time dealing with Saturn in a house, and where it feels the most stern. I really relate to my Aries horoscope, about Saturn being in Aries 7th house. I had way more drama with friends, family, acquaintances, and was in a relationship for a while and had a lot of drama with that too.
I also feel like I am more stern with who is capable of being my boyfriend now. But there where times where it was so much where I thought 'wow I fail at dealing with people, I should just live under a rock.'

When Saturn was in Virgo it was hard. I had a job that I sucked at, plus I was doing things I wasn't use to doing cleaning and organizing, and my classes at the time where really hard, and I didn't know how to handle my hypoglycemia at the time. I would always come to work after being in a class that was way too hard, so I was always mentally drained. And my boss didn't like to explain how to do things right, she wanted me to just know. Well I eventually got fired/I quit.

I got put in easier classes and just focused on school.

Also I read that you don't reap the rewards from Saturn until it has left that sign. Also the second time Saturn comes around it a bit easier to handle the next time.

And after Saturn left Virgo for good I got a job that I enjoy doing that is just easy but challenging in a good way. I work in a preschool now.

"For souls born with Saturn in Capricorn the test is in humility and the use of power. You have a great love of power and the desire to dominate others, but need to learn to let power flow through you and feel yourself being it's instrument, rather than the great dictator. You're ambitious and clear-headed with practical matters, and have foresight and organizational ability. If afflicted, you tend to be solitary, serious, suspicious, selfish and egotistical. If unafflicted, you're strong, persistent, and responsible, and may be an evolved soul with none of the negative qualities mentioned here. Prestige and social standing will be very important to some. Your strong sense of duty can be very grim if you haven't found joy in the accomplishment. Too much holding on and selfishness can manifest as arthritic conditions in your body. A way out of feeling lonely and limited is through service and greater givingness. Saturn returns to each sign once every 29 or 30 years for about a three-year stay. Saturn was in Capricorn from 12/1929 to 11/1932, from 1/1959 to 1/1962, and from 2/1988 to 2/1991." http://www.myastrologybook.com/Saturn-in-Capricorn-all-about-Capricorn-Saturn.htm

TRUE! How long has Saturn been here anyway? I had SO MUCH drama with friends last year which is highly unusual for me. Not to mention Sagittarius rules my 7th house, and I'm an Aries as well so I'm feeling it just as bad. LOL - "Wow, I fail at dealing with people, I should just live under a rock." Took the words right out of my mouth.

I'm not sure if it's afflicted... if I remember right my Sun, and Venus are square Saturn but I don't know that that afflicts Saturn...
