Are aspects significant in a Solar Return, or just placements? I know it can be read kind of like a natal chart, but I want to use it to look for events.Mary Shea says: quote: 2. Aspects are more important than House rulershipsI believe the tension or ease in a Solar Return ismore aptly represented by the aspects between planets in the Houses than by following the trail of House rulerships. Keep it simple. A square between Pluto in the 10th House of career and the Sun in the 1st House makes a very clear statement about the conflict between authority figures at work and a personal need for independence and self-determination. The fact that the 10th House is ruled by Sagittarius and therefore Jupiter and the 1st House is ruled by Pisces, also Jupiter, does not mean that there is a commonality that will resolve this issue easily.

Last year I had sun & venus conjunct in my 7th house SR along with pluto. I started a significant relationship but I also had power struggles with people as pluto conjuncted my natal mars. IP: Logged |

I'll have an exact Sun-Venus conjunction in my SR 8th house starting August 2011, I'm hoping my love life will improve. The man I love left me and I don't think he'll be coming back. but i can't move on.IP: Logged |
