i think orb defines how often the energy/action between two planets in aspect takes place.so for example, if you have Venus-Uranus aspect in synastry, this energy is not going to pop up very often (disruptions) if the orb is wide like 6-7. if you have a Venus-Pluto aspect that is wide, i beleive in the same thing, you will feel it, the the theme will pop up, just not often. if an orb is tight or exact, you can expect the energy or theme to pop up/ keep occuring very very often, maybe daily. for me, this works, this theory or idea.. so im going to be using it from now on, i wanted to share it, maybe its not new, it could be old, but this is just what i figured today after realizing something about some of my own synastry aspects. See... I always think of orbs as a sound. Orbs are always humming, but the tighter the orb is, the louder it's going to be. Like if you have Moon trine Venus at a 6 degree orb, it's there, humming away. But it's going to be drowned out by your Moon square Saturn at 1 degree, which is screaming.IP: Logged |
