Please describe your experience with Venus/Mercury aspects. Does it create conflict with hard aspects involved?

O...Well with the square from my experience the Mercury person just says the wrong thing at the wrong time. You gotta speak to Venus in a way that makes her wanna warm up to you, and Venus better get what Venus wants or she'll create some trouble. Mercury is either a million miles ahead in air or fire if Venus is feminine, and can come across as flighty and unfaithful, feminine Venus suspects if they're that light with their tone then maybe they're not gonna take the relationship seriously. Feminine Merc may seem a bit dull and slow if Venus is masculine, Venus may suspect that if they're not showing enthusiasm and playing along then how good can they be in bed, their serious tone makes them think they may have to account for their whereabouts when not with them.Masculine Venus wants to be revved up, they want the party, the bigger laughs, the extrovert sort of experience. Feminine Venus wants to get in the feeling of it all, in Earth you gotta be smooth and sensual in your tone, in Water you have to emote and convey depth and vulnerability. For Air Venus you have to mentally stimulate them, like Air Merc which loves to play around with words. And with Fire Venus they want the experience, something larger than life, so a Water or Earth Merc there (square) is trying to get into a groove and Venus in Fire says 'but wait, you're forgetting all the fun things we're supposed to do, and shouldn't you have some kind of excitement in your voice, why are you so monotone.' Water Merc gets tied down in subjective perceptions and Earth Merc gets tied down in mundane matters, Venus Fire says,'you guys have to get out of yourselves for a bit.' Hope this helps. IP: Logged |

Awesome Lonake, thank you so much. Very helpful ! In my case, I am the Airy Venus, he is the Water Mercury. But my Water Mercury also opposes his Earth Venus, so that should help ^^.

The opposition I find not v.tension-inducing, cos there's a lot of curiosity there between these two. Venus will marvel at Merc and not quite know how they operate but they want to be around just to see what's going on in there. Venus may take cues from opp Merc and start communicating in their manner just as a bit of a fun exercise, maybe they use it to tease Merc a bit, but unless other aspects intervene, by itself it's all meant in fun. Yea, I think curiosity is the keyword for Venus/Merc oppositions.IP: Logged |
