Which composers would you choose to represent which Sunsign?I have been listening to John Dowland so much lately, his music feeds my Capricorn sun, in ways that my mere words would not do justice to his music. for example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7divSaTad-o Just makes me feel shivery listening to it. But really, who would you choose for your sign? Hey it can be pop or rock or anything? Who do you feel represents your sunsign musically ? IP: Logged |

interesting i'm doing a blog on music and aspects because I have a planet in almost every sign, and i'm moved across them all...but i'm a capricorn sun and to be honest classical music is alright, but i prefer stuff like that is on this blog based on my current long term transits, i notice a paturn actually, and tehre is a syncronicity by sign and symbol.http://pholusnine.blogspot.com/ http://pholusnine.blogspot.com/ IP: Logged |

I think I have some obscure placement (maybe aqua in east point) that makes me like obscure music. The more obscure/unknown the indie rock, classic rock, ambient/IDM/downtempo, jazz is, the more I like it. Ultra underground and master of the different. IP: Logged |

I like everything (an Aqua with a Pisces Venus would like everything). One year, my favorite band was the Blood Brothers and the next, Air. Completely different from each other. Then M83 and now Saves the Day lol (throwback). I'm in the punk/pop punk stage of my life... when most people have it in middle school. Whatevs, never too late to listen to Anti Flag. Sometimes, I even get down with spoken word (like Secret Sauna Sirens or Miranda July). quote: Ultra underground and master of the different.
See, define underground. I go to house shows (with touring acts) a lot but there are very few bands that impress me. Then there's the Pitchfork bands but could you really say that they are "underground"? Certainly not mainstream, of course, but underground, in the internet age, means something totally different. For example, my friends are all in bands and they have fans in Sweden, Brazil, Japan, etc. They're not even signed, they just have a Last.fm profile. Music is so accessible these days that it's hard to call anything underground. IP: Logged |

I have Pisces Venus too! Also I think having Gemini Rising makes me have many different music tastes. And Aqua Mars likes being unpredictible. Speaking of underground sounds I like underground rap...or an underground genre called horrorcore. Some are more underground than others... Twiztid(well you can buy their stuff at stores, but they aint on the radio) (same with) Boondox ABK Blaze ya Dead Homie AMB Esham Tech N9ne (I also like) Dayton Family Mac Dre Brotha Lynch Hung House of Krazees Inner City Posse Ikkurruz Razekal Kid Crusher Killa C Teeze the Villian of Lunatic Society But most of this music I wouldn't say feeds my Aries Sun. But other placements. I've been to a few shows with some of these artists. IP: Logged |

sure, lastfm pages with under 10,000 listens, sometimes 2,500. I guess underground is subjective and can be used to varying degrees. Just stuff that sounds..unconventional, regardless of "listens."

I used to like everything, but over time i've refind my tastes. I chose music now based on the level of vibration. IT's based on instrumentation, vocal delivery, and lyrics, the three combine...for example the white stripes has a lower vibration of instrumentations - thing grunge, but a higher delivery in terms of lyrics - think divine, and a very high level of vocals - think aquarian electric divine, not as in singing like ad ivine angel, but singing like something not of this earth.IP: Logged |
