Topic: Different Descendants. Why?

Wondering,
I initially relied on astro for charts. Here, I would get my so's ascendant as being capricorn with cancer on the 7th house.
A few weeks ago, I came across other birth chart sites, I redid our charts and his changed. He still gets Cap asc however leo on the 7th house.
My chart has remained the same regardless but his chart changes from 7th house cancer to 7th house leo.How do I know which one is accurate?
I have read definitions for both 7th house cancer and leo and I don't know which one fits him best, it is hard to guess the real one, especially because he has mars and venus in leo on the 7th house but then, he is a stay and home person who likes to nurture and take care of me at home but, this could be the virgo sun/moon and mercury.
So, I get all confused reading these descriptions. Maybe someone could describe people they know with these different placements in a more personalized manner? But anyways, why did the web sites yield different results?
How do I know which one is true?
Can someone have both leo and cancer on the 7th house? Thanks! IP: Logged |

Thank you very much Bluegrey.Something else I want to add, wondering if you could help with this. All of the charts usually show Gemini as his 5th house but I don't see this at all.
If I do equal housing, it comes out as being 5th house Taurus, which makes far more sense to me. At least, because he has artistic talents and adores working and being around children. He is also extremely loyal and serious about relationships. This fits the description I have read on 5th house Taurus than 5th house Gemini (multiple affairs, flaky) but I could be wrong. If his ASC is Capricorn, his DSC is ALWAYS going to be Cancer. Always. I think you were just looking at confusing chart drawings (or perhaps using whole sign houses for the second one... which are confusing when drawn out since the first house starts at 0 degrees of the ascendant sign).
5th house isn't really relationships, that's all 7th house. 5th house is fun, children, expression, creation, children, romance, maybe sex. I think that's where you got confused, the romance and sex part.
