Has anyone had experience with this? It's actually conjunct my natal Venus...I'm trying to decide whether or not to stay in my hometown for this solar return.IP: Logged |

I have a feeling I wont want to stay in my hometown...based on the year I've been having relationship-wise I need a change and I don't think Venus in the 12th is conducive to getting what I want. I've had to deal with his emotional, substance, and general "victim mentality" problems getting in the way of our relating and I am sick of it. I feel like I've had to sacrifice a lot of myself for him and I either want things to WORK or for me to just be able to muster the strength drop it all together. I'd appreciate thoughts on this! Basically right now I'm trying to decide (relationship-wise)- do I want to go somewhere where my Sun and Moon will be in the 7th and my Venus in the 8th. OR do I wanna go full throttle and go somewhere where my Saturn is on the DSC, Moon in the 7th, Sun in the 8th, and Venus in the 9th. Thoughts? IP: Logged |

Venus is buried anyways, in the 8th or in the 12th. But I still wouldn't choose the third chart, since Saturn in the 7th can also mean delays and frustrations in relationships, and Sun in 8th seems meh IP: Logged |

Yeah that's a good point! I didn't think of Venus in 8th as buried but having my Sun there natally I think I can relate to that sentiment. My Jupiter if I stay home and keep Venus in the 12th will be in the 4th. With the other 2 charts it's in the 12th. Now I'm looking somewhere even further from home! But I think this is a trip I really want to take so hopefully I can work it out for my bday. Sun/Moon in 5th, Venus in 6th, Pluto in the 6th close to the DSC and Jupiter in the 11th. I kinda like this one the most! I'm having a hard time envisioning Venus in the 6th but I guess it would manifest more in health and work? If so, fine with me! Last option if that doesn't work out is to go somewhere where Sun/Moon are in the 11th which I like...although Sun is 2 degrees away from the 12th which I'm a little scared of...Venus is in the 1st on the ASC which I have this year and seems to be most conducive to spending time alone. My DSC ruler Gemini would be in the 12th though. And Pluto is also in the 1st which I'm not too crazy about and Jupiter in the 4th. IP: Logged |

An astrologer friend of mine once told me that you should always look to Jupiter, and place it in the house you need it the most. Jupiter in 10th is always a good choice.I like the last two charts, am having a little trouble deciding between them, so it's your choice. Venus in 1st could be interpreted as you being charming and attractive the whole year IP: Logged |

I wanted to bump this topic to see if anyone else had anymore insights on Venus in the 12th.I have it this month in my lunar return and the exact day of my return found out my boyfriend has been entertaining flirtations (possibly with the intention of cheating from what it looked like but he claims that wasn't the case...) with girls on a dating site. I had heard of Venus in the 12th involving cheating but I didn't think I might be the victim of it (not in the strictest of terms but you know...), I had always heard about it involving being in love with someone you can't have fully. Regardless, I think I'm getting it more now...your love undergoing a "test"...but yeah it has me worried for next year with my Venus (conjunt natal Venus!) conjunct Mercury in the 12th all year IP: Logged |

I honestly think it depends on if this person has a balance of earth in their chart. I have a stellium in the 12th, including Venus in Gemini, which looks upon first glance as a cheating placement. That's not me at all. I'm predominately earth and water, and my venus in the 12th makes me idealize love and try to make things work ou even though I know it's doomed for failure. When I'm in love, I'll do anything to make it work. It's makes for a quiet, shy, and very sensitive person when it comes to expressing feelings, it also gives me love for humanity.IP: Logged |

question..I thought your solar return was based on ALL your natal chart information including your place of birth..so if you are in a different location than your birth place...it changes the chart?
