My dear friend with Jupiter conjunct Venus is so Venus- like in loveliness and grace.
How does Jupiter expand and heighten other planets,for you?
That got me thinking about this topic.

i've got a triple conjunction: Jupiter, Neptune and ascendant.one word: Sensitive. acutely sensitive for sure. oddly enough i'm not large by any means. most interpretations say that jupiter on the ascendant gives one a predisposition towards weight gain and excess. perhaps its because i'm a cappy rising it ain't so, but i have never had weight gain issues. quite the opposite actually. always been very slender, toned and slim. barely ever break 120 lbs and i'm 5'6". go figure. now add neptune to the mix. i am a psychic sponge for sure (its all squaring my moon at that). the more i tune in to it, the more "control" i have over it. meaning i'm not just susceptible to it, i can tap into it. its kinda scary sometimes to literally physically feel peoples energy. especially their emotions and pain and repressed issues. so many people are hiding behind things and i am keenly sensitive to it. its nice to feel when ppl have open light and loving spirits too, but unfortunately thats not most ppl. ------------------

I have been afraid of "knowing" what was behind the masks.
I built up lots of defenses cuz I could not face what I saw.
For me,I think it is knowing there is Something greater than myself which allows me ,now, to begin to access this part of me,again.
As a child ,I accepted it .

i do not believe the heart is wicked. i know that the heart above all is wounded by separation, seeking wholeness in all its dealings, but failing most often.(sound jupiter/neptune/ascendant? lol)------------------

I have jupiter conjunct ascendant in taurus but with neptune in the 7th house. I try to keep a happy disposition but people really drain me especially with negativity. I had to take a 5 day hiatus where I would not speak to anyone, I wouldn't answer the phone or texts but people demand my attention!! I feel exactly as you do Electricmind...it really puts me in a bad place sometimes. As far as weight, it can be a battle since its in taurus. IP: Logged |

I know several people with Jupiter conjunct Sun in different signs, they are very positive and sunny, even the Cancers. My brother has Jupiter conjunct Venus and he is very well-liked by others despite his constant crappy disposition , which is a mystery to me. I have Jupiter conjunct Uranus and so far Uranus hasn't made its presence felt in my life. I'm not very uranian, I'm much more saturnian. But we all know how Uranus works, so I may be in for a surprise.------------------

Cappy1277... Are you noticing any effects yet of t.Jupiter approaching your ASC? Or your n.Jupiter? Or is it still a little ways away yet?n.Jupiter also conjuncts my ASC, and my n.Sun. Overall, I would say that it does help me keep a reasonably optimistic attitude, but with some nasty Saturn squares in my natal, I can fall into depression kind of easily. I know I have a tendency to get carried away, and feel I can do so much more than I really can. Or that my plans are all going to work out wonderfully, with nothing going wrong. Usually, I find out in a hurry that it doesn't work like that. The weight thing didn't hit me until my 40's. Now I have to watch it, but not a whole lot. I have Neptune in the 7th, and yes, I can be drained by other people pretty quickly, too. IP: Logged |

Oh, to tell you the truth, I don't think it does much of nuthin'! It seems to make me over-idealize lovers and friends. I seem to think I'm good friends with someone, only to find out later they really didn't care that much. My n.Neptune is aspected pretty well, too! Trines n.Pluto and MC. Opposite n.Mecury. With the n.Mercury, I do seem to get a little too paranoid and suspicious. I don't like that, and try to fight that energy. IP: Logged |

I seem to take small slights as being bigger than they are. When I meditate on it later, I can see how it's not a big deal. At the moment though, I'll think so-and-so must have done this... Only to find out later I'm dead wrong. It's as if Neptune is tickling my mind, but in a negative way. Like my thoughts are being played with. If that makes sense. My ascendant is at 20 degrees so have a way to go still. I've been working on a weight loss plan to prepare myself just in case. My natal jupiter is retrograde. I'm not overweight but I would like to tone it down some. Neptune in 7th...hmmm..I used to pick the worst partners- drunks, addicts, people with personality defects. People I thought I could fix if I gave them enough love but that usually backfired. I find now I want to have a spiritual connection, someone to feel enlightened with. Someone who makes me happy not me making them happy. I fall into depression easily with insomnia. Too many thoughts in my head...thanks to my gemini moon. I try to find some solitude and I feel that writing helps to relieve the anxiety I feel. IP: Logged |

I have Jupiter Conjunct Venus in Gemini by like a degree or something like that in the 2nd house. Basically, I like pretty things. I also never seem to run out of money - well, I do of course - but as soon as I do some magically appears again. lol It has been this way my whole life. I'm lucky at getting money. Keeping it....... not so much! hahaFor myself, since Venus is my chart ruler, I think this aspect shows up more that it could in others. I am very generous - too generous (I also have jupiter quincunx saturn). For example, when I was out of work and just living on my university allowance from my parents I didn't eat as much and saved up 500 dollars in six months and bought my ex a watch for Christmas. As much as I love getting shiny little pretty things and knowing that I'm love and the world is sparkly and bright, I do the same in return. I want my loved ones to live in a bright little world where there is no pain and everything is beautiful and free and joyous. I really hate when my loved one is disappointed in me or misunderstands me. It feels like something is creeping into our little bubble. I'm often bubbly and silly and goofy, because there is nothing I want more than to make the people I love laugh and forget all the troubles and worries - thing is sometimes we have to come back to earth and do stuff like pay bills and crap. Me doesn't likey this. lol I'd say it's hard for me to deal with reality sometimes because I'd much rather be off frolicking through meadows looking at rainbows and showering people with love and gifts. Cap sun in exact quincunx gemini= absolute adjustments esp with taurus rising. Hate change but find myself or others initiating it & I adapt. Gemini moon is like having a brain that nevers stops thinking even when you want it to. I become chatty when I'm stressed. Its burdensome at times but I'm working on liking it. I work with an intellectual mind & enjoy intellectual pursuits. Too smart for my own good sometimes...lol. IP: Logged |
