Hello  I am still a beginner when it comes to synastry. I keep reading things that say "When somebody's Mars falls in your 5th house, there is bound to be a connection." What does that mean? Can you give me examples of how to tell which of your own planets fall in another person's houses? IP: Logged |

Hi thereI'm just as much of a beginner so I'd get an additional answer before you bet any real money on me, lol, but I think it means that when you put the two charts together, one on the inside and one on the outside, so the zodiac signs are aligned, then because the Ascendant will be different, the houses will be different. Once you've plotted the planets on the charts, they are (fall) in one house on your chart, but that might be a different house on the other person's chart. This is my parents' chart - I've drawn stupid red circles on to show you what I mean.... the sign is Capricorn, then the inner wheel's Sun is in the inner wheel's 5th house, but the outer wheel's 12th house.  Does that make sense? I found it so confusing to start with, just looked like a mass of symbols and lines! I have no idea how to read charts lol. I literally know nothing. That looks soo confusing. All I know how to do is use astro.com and I just read their free reports. But thanks for trying <3I'll post a chart from astro.com. This is mine and my best guy friend's.

This is what is behind the situation of "falls in people's houses" lol
If his Sun falls in my 2nd house, He will bring ME self esteem cuz the 2nd house is the self esteem house,in part. He--HIS Sun,his self etc brings ME the thing of that house. If My Sun falls in his 5th house, I bring him fun,creativity and romance cuz that is what the 5th house is made of. ------------------

Right now, my Sun,moon ,Venus and Mercury falls in his 12th house.
I think I open his unconscious to him,not that he likes it  ------------------

You need to go to one of the chart making sites and get a synastry chart.
That is both of your charts in comparison to each other.
You can see cuz it will be a wheel(one chart) within a wheel(another)------------------

You should probably go to astro.com and search for a chart key so you can learn what all the symbols mean.In the chart you posted: their Sun is in your 5th (it's right on the cusp)
their Moon is in your 10th
their Mercury is in your 4th
their Venus is in your 4th
their Mars is in your 5th
their Jupiter is in your 4th
their Saturn is in your 7th (maybe 8th depending on your views about house cusps)
their Uranus is in your 6th
their Neptune is in your 6th

Or work to drag you down! Ugh, I hate people's things falling in my 2nd. The placements depends a lot on aspects to that planet in their natal, in your synastry, and also how they're using their chart.IP: Logged |
