The person I am thinking of its not about looks.. I compliment him ALOT... but its never about looks.. Its more of what good person he is... Im wondering if thats because my Leo planets are in his 2nd house.. OR more so why do I boost his ego so much... I have like a million pet names for him... He just eats it all up... But really its so natural from me... Im not doing it to flatter him, its how I really see him..

I had my Sun/Mercury/Psyche in my ex-boyfriends 2nd house. While internally I adored the hell out of him and always found things about his nature to admire (worshipped him internally), I rarely ever said anything about it. He alllllways complimented me, though - and even in my most insecure moments would built me up beautifully. I also had Mars conjunct his ASC though (since someone brought up Venus earlier) Actually, now that I think about it, his planets would be in my 2nd house, too! His Sun/Mercury/Pluto would be in my 2nd house of Scorpio.. interesting. IP: Logged |

Yes thats what I mean... Im wondering if thats 2nd house synastry? Does planet person build the house person's ego?? I seem to do it w/o even thinking.. Its so natural.. Its more instinct. He has told me when he's down, I just seem to pop up out of now where and make him feel better...

My experience with 2nd house synastry is the same. his sun, venus and NN fall in my 2nd and this person has proved to elevate my self steem, indeed he knows it and foster it. My asc falls in his second house, and he has riped some material benefits out our relationship. A curious point in our sinastry is that our kirons fall in our respective 4th houses...IP: Logged |

Regarding ego boost and self-esteem:Person X, his Gemini Asc and his Saturn fall in my 2nd house, my 2nd house Mars is conj. his Asc. For years been telling me how I am the most beautiful etc lala. Never touched me. Don't feel like complimenting either. No idea if an ego boost is being taken from my presence. Person Y, his Jupiter, Pallas/Juno fall in my 2nd (it's his 7th). My Mars is conjunct that Pallas/Juno. His Jupiter is 5° from my Mars (counts as conj.?). Never made a comment about my physical appearance, only the occassional "well done", yet after a year of regular contact, I am more confident and actually feel more beautiful on a very internal level. Which I, if I may say so, do not attribute to the ehr relationship per se. Regardless, I don't feel the urge to compliment here either. Not the faintest idea if I am seen or felt as an ego boost. Highly unlikely. Just to show how different it can be also depending on the planets and houses involved? IP: Logged |

Always gotta be positive, always gotta laugh. .
My best friend is like this, she is a Pisces Sun with Aquarius Moon and SAG. ASC., but most of it is a cover, she is good at faking it. I can't say I'm that optimisitic, I dunno if having Saturn in the 1st dampens the uber postive aspects of Sag. ASC. But I definitely inherited more of the Woody Allen cynical apsects of Sag. Lol! I've always idolized those with Leo ASC. I dunno if its because I really like the Sun-ASC. conjunction or the fact that my Venus ruler is in Leo. But I'm not a fan of men with Gemini ASC. and I have Gem. Venus. I prefer active, less personal planets in Gemini, like Mars. IP: Logged |

Or it could be that blasted mutable square to your Sun. I've noticed Pisces and Gemini gravitate towards each other, but Gemini has too short of a attention span. IP: Logged |
