First i am a capricorn, but with some special traits: i was born on the 23rd (0.44deg), my ascendant is in sagittarius, and my moon is in leo So i am ball of fire with some dust in it :P

Anyway, there is this girl i like, who is an aquarian, on 15deg, and her moon is actually on 0.5 or 1 taurus, mercury is at 1 pisces, her venus is at 29 sagittarius, and her mars is at 20 aries.

Now i am not asking for a compatibility advice.

The point is: I have 2 problem with aquarius. To me, for my leo moon and cap sun, they are TOO detached: i don't like this. And, secondly, i don't like the idea of "low" sexual desire of aquarians, afterall my venus is in scorpio.

Now the question is, can this girl be different? According to her profile?

As the taurus could be "squaring off" some of her aquarian traits and the aries mars too?

Well i talked to her and stuff, but we are still so far from "love" and "sex", but i just don't wanna make a step forward before making sure that maybe these things i don't like in aquarians are watered down in her.

BUT since this is an astrology board...

Her Venus and Mars are in Fire signs, so it is doubtful that her sex drive would be especially low.

And Taurus Moons are not notorious for being overly detached so that should cure some of your worries about that. Plus Aqua Suns aren't necessarily about detachment in personal relationships, they just strive for objectiveness. Being objective can come off as being "detached."

And why would you not ask for compatibility advice? People do tend to act differently around different people according to their synastries. Like, someone who has never EVER felt the need to be in a committed relationship might change their tune if they met someone that they really loved, obviously.

Well i said i don't want a synastry report not because i don't need it, but because i don't wanna tire people in here, plus i have enough info to help me with it efficiently I know it didn't sound like that lol, but that's what i meant, really.

And you are absolutely right, one shouldn't date according to profiles, but rather use synastry to understand their partner's needs and try to make things work better. And i never dated someone according to their profile But this time...! Maybe i am too obsessed with some of the aquarius down sides?

I liked the "objectiveness" bit! So true! Don't know why it never came to my mind from this angle...

Unfortunately i don't know her time of birth But there are really good aspects like my sun in trine with her moon. And my moon is in leo, i "feed" on exaggerations :P And i guess you are right: i shouldn't be afraid And i can't wait for the mars in aries :P

Mmmmmm... I think this is variable through my knowledge with some friends but not personal experience to be honest. And true, i know they can get hypersexual sometimes too.

But the biggest problem is the idea of "Closeness" and emotional attachment. You know the "Friends with benefits" theme, where whatever you do, an aquarian will always still be your friend, and "Only" your friend, even you had a baby together lol (kidding of course), and never become personal or intimate emotionally with you? This really scares the **** out of me.

Nothing Well, the only aspect is my venus squaring her sun

Mmmmmm Let me see... Her mars, trines my moon (if you were a bit generous in the orb), and trines my ascendant... Her venus is in my first house.

And i wished she'd have something watery to fulfill my venus needs But i kinda think that the bigger aspects with moon and sun is more important you know? Like this is enough for me, the rest comes by doing some "work".

I have two friends who are Aquarius ladies. One has a Libra Moon and Cancer Rising. She is like a mother to everyone, very nurturing. WAnts to get married and have kids, more than anything.

The other, I don't know her moon or rising but she has two young kids who she is totally devoted to and a husband who she takes very good care of. It is a very together, very happy family.

Well, my experience with aquarius is the following:

I know a girl, we have mutual interest, then mutual deep friendship, then i ask her out, we go out, then i begin to have deep emotions for her, but, as for her, she seems to be stuck in the "friendship" zone! Although we date, but she just "Wants" to stay there and never leave! This is how she likes it! It's like, we talk we go out, but... I kinda feel the connection is purely mental! No emotional attachment at all!?

And it keeps going this way until i feel frustrated, and even when i leave i feel like she is not really feeling bad that it ended!

So, i like this girl a lot, but because she is an aquarius, i am afraid to approach her! Maybe the other girls were cold by nature? But this happens only with aquarius girls!
