As far as I was always told, I was born at ten past two in the afternoon, making me a Sag asc. I've had to take this as gospel, as both my parents have passed away. However, I am a bit skeptical - I was child no. 5 for my mother, and she could at times be very vague, lol. The thing is, I really don't feel my Sag asc at all. I jiggled my chart a bit last night, taking note of all the new house positions, and Scorpio asc really rang true for me - some of the signs in their new house positions worked so well...

BUT, if my mother was right, could I perhaps be feeling my MC (plus Mars, Venus and Uranus) in Scorpio? Does this work for anybody else? I must be honest, after redoing my chart, it was uncanny how much it fit me more.

I am considering getting in touch with the hospital I was registered at, BUT, I wasn't born there, I was born in an ambulance about 5 minutes away - would the records still be kept at the hospital?

To be honest, I don't feel much like a Gemini even though I'm Gem Rising. I think you feel like a Scorpio because you have planets in Scorpio (do you have anything in Sag??).

Now, there are some schools of astrology that put a lot more stock in MCs (Uranian Astrology for instance... but they don't really pay attention to signs anyway). Raymond knows a lot about this.

You can also try to get your chart rectified, maybe Coffee could help you?

I don't feel much like my ASC sign either, but transitwise and in terms of house cusps, it makes alot of sense.

I'm two degrees away from being a Libra ascendant and so often I'll tinker with my chart and put my Asc in the early degrees of Libra and feel it can be apt, as my mother told me I was born at 3:08 pm but I've never seen my birth certificate.. but there's just no way I'd be a double air asc/moon. There's something about the asc that can be EXTREMELY subtle when no planets are conjuncting it/in your first house, but my chart ruler being Mercury and the little Virgo neurotics that I possess (but rarely think about) are just way more apt, as seductive as the glamor of having a Libra asc would be.

(Also, my MC being in the late degrees of Gemini seemed difficult to relate to as well, but the older I get the more I see how capable I am of wearing many different career hats and there's just no way I'd have Cancer there tbh)
