I know this topic is probably been beaten into the ground many times.
OK this is my question to ya'll. You have a trine or sextile with an orb of say 2 then you have a conjunction with an orb of 8
Even though the conjunction is wide it is the strongest aspect in general.
Which one would be more apparent/stronger?

as more tighter as more stronger.

Agreed but I also think hard aspects tend to "stick out" a little more. Sometimes soft aspects fall into the background because they are so well integrated. I don't really believe in general rules to this stuff though...it depends on the planets involved too. Luminaries and angle rulers seem more sensitive than others

Yep and it also depends if an aspect is being affected by a transit...it's the transits that bring natal aspects into focus. Most of the time the rest of the chart will blend into the background so to speak.
