How do you see your parents in your charts? Or your children? What kind of patterns are there? IP: Logged |

It depends on the individual, you have to look at families individually to see their patterns. The 4th/10th house can show parental influences and the 5th will show children and childhood.IP: Logged |

USING WHOLE SIGN HOUSE SYSTEM (I'm shouting this) you will find your Mum is your house 10 cusp, your fathers is house 4 cusp, and your child is house 5 cusp. You will share planets with your parents as your chart is just a bunch of transits to your parents natal charts at the time of birth. Conjunctions are the most powerful aspect, something that would be apparent at the time of a child birth, but not always. IP: Logged |

Whole sign house system is one of the equal house systems. Normally called 'whole sign'.Aesthetically better than the standard equal house system. More emphasis on the signs.

Ok so I checked:Signs on those cusps corresponding to either relative? Nope Now, if I look at my 10th under this whole sign system, and if I take the new ruler, it goes to my father If I take the old ruler, it is in the sign of my mother. Neither of them cares much about H4 tho, any which way you slice it. Have to jump through 3 hoops to arrive at my son from H5. But I can see how it would work. IP: Logged |

Try using placidus house system then look at the mc, the ic and any planets (and the sign if its different to the mc/ic) in the 4th/10th house (and 5th for your son)IP: Logged |

Placidus, for me personally:IC is mom, DC is dad, MC is son. Planet in h4 is the ruler of son I have to jump through 3 hoops to arrive from 5 at my son and only if I take old ruler. Lemme see H10, one of the planets leads me to the sign where the moon is located which would then lead to my mother, and the 2nd leads me to the sign where pluto is located which would then lead to my father. It works in both systems for me, I'll have to check the Placidus one with my siblings.

What's your 5th house cusp? Any planets in the 5th? What aspects have you got to the ruler of the 5th? IP: Logged |

<3 CappuccinoIt's ok, don't mind me It just happens that coincidentally my mothers sign is my IC placement, my father's sign my Desc. and my son's my MC blablabla. But I did do the whole run around the "proper way" (or at least what I thought it might be from the scraps I got) and it leads me to the same point. Dys, I do end up at my son's sun sign from my house 5, it just takes a couple detours. IP: Logged |

in my case, this is very prominent and easy to recognise, and being from a troubled family parental issues also affect my life greatly.my Moon is at my SN in the 4th house, cj Eris exact. it is also the butt end of my Kite formation. my Pluto is at my NN in the 10th house, and naturally it's the pointing side of the Kite. it is obvious that the moon represents my mother and Pluto my father. the configuration is very symbolic, reflecting the real life dynamic well.
