I have this with someone in our Davison...sounds rough Anyone have experiences or insights? In our composite they are in the 10th...

Particularly interested if anyone has insights into Pluto on the angles in composites or Davisons because that's what is happening here!

Dunno, I have Saturn/Pluto/Uranus conjunct in 7th with someone in the composite, but when I asked about the aspect I didn't get an answer.

I cannot really tell what is coming from that aspect for me, as things are a bit weird in general.

Really? I was curious because I read that it results in a lack of emotional affinity- or some kind of awkwardness/limitation there...was that your experience? How did you feel it manifested if at all? Also if you don't mind me grilling you- where was Saturn in your composite?

i've got davidson saturn in virgo in the 4th. it rules the 8th.

its important to take into consideration the sign and aspects as well. no planet is an island. i exists in a matrix of gravitational pulls and electromagnetic fields in space. its orbit is a direct result of all the other planets and its distance from the sun.

also, its important to understand distinctions between house and planet. a house is only where. and planet is what. sign is how. so saturn in the 4th in virgo is

what: boundaries and limitations/growing up/maturing;
how: critically, organized, efficiently, orderly, with service and sacrifice, modestly, cleverly, healthily;
where: in the home, with the family, in private

saturn is always second guessing,doubting and questioning. so for the placement i have, a dialogue goes something like this:
are we organized in the home?
do we serve the family?
are we healthy in private?
are we clever in the home?
are we modest with family?
are we efficient in private/in the home/with the family?

looking at aspects made to and from saturn will give us insight on ways in which those things are being supported, blocked or opposed.

mercury square saturn: the way we think and communicate inhibits our ability to be organized in the home.

venus sextile saturn: the way we show love supports our ability to serve and sacrifice in the home/with our family.

mars trine saturn: our drive and motivation allows us to be efficient in the home.

post your saturn sign, house and aspects and i'll do the same for you.

Okay! Lemme know what you think, I appreciate it...

in the Davison it goes-

Saturn in the 4th in Scorpio
Capricorn is on the 6th house cusp
the closest aspect it makes is a trine to Moon in the 12th in Cancer (1 deg)
It squares the Leo ASC (2 deg)
It squares Jupiter in the 6th in Aquarius (6 deg)
Opposes Merc/NN in the 10th in Taurus (7 deg)
Opposes Sun in Gemini in 10th (9 deg)

what: boundaries and limitations/growing up/maturing;
how: intensely, sensitively, emotionally, controlling, stubbornly, intimately, decisie, polarized, temperamental, proudly;
where: in the home, with the family, in private

moon trine saturn: what makes you feel safe and secure and how you express your emotions as a couple allows you to be intimate in your home and with your family.

saturn square ascendant: how you come off and approach things makes you temperamental and controlling in private.

jupiter (in 6th) square saturn: your worldview and beliefs and sense of optimism about how you conduct your daily routine and what you do for work as well as how you deal with your health is blocked by moodiness and excessive sensitivity in your private life..

mercury opposed saturn: the way that you think and communicate makes you polarized (black and white) in your dealings with your family

nn oppposed saturn: the qualities that you are learning to express in the present and future in your relationship: material stability and steadfast focus in your public persona/career; are challenged by moodiness, sensitivity and control issues in your private life.

I would love to know the ind. role saturn played, but it was an intense, obsessive relationship. Then kind of dropped off into what it is now, 2 weeks of no communication. I think I was more calm than she during the relationship and sharing emotions felt pretty natural.

Saturn is in Sag (10 degrees), 4th house, squares Jupiter. It trines my natal Uranus (12 degrees) and squares her mercury venus (5 degrees) and trines her vertex (13 degrees).

I think she felt it was hard to communicate when in the relationship and I tended to dominate the conversations and "make speeches" as she said.

Thanks so much electricmind! that gives me quite a good deal to think about and a lot of it resonates. I think it's interesting because Pluto is also in Scorp and actually at the angles- this seems at the forefront while Saturn, as you seem to be saying explains the reticence and limitations there. I think a big part of this relationship (speaking for myself anyway) is growing up about Pluto and Scorpio.

Carl- if you don't mind me asking- what was composite Saturn doing? I'm still honing how to compare composites and davisons so I'm curious...I like your instinct to compare it to natals though- In this case it conjuncts his Sun and Jupiter. And conjuncts my Mercury. It's interesting your ex had a hard aspect to her Mercury because I can relate to what you're saying about her! I feel like I have a hard time getting anything out here! Usually just keep my thoughts to myself, much to my dissatisfaction!

Weirdly though- and I don't know how I didn't catch this earlier- Saturn is exactly opposite his Chiron!

I think there is a lot I am not catching too. Every time I look at my natal or hers, or our composite or syntasty or compare them all, I catch something new.

Comp. Saturn is in Sag as well, oddly enough. and in house 11. I can check for any aspects, etc. later if need be.

Hey EM! Would you mind giving me some of your insight into our 4th house placements?
Sun conjunct saturn in cancer
Sun is ruler of 5th house and saturn is ruler of 10th
Sun & saturn square uranus libra in 7th and also square jupiter aries in 1st but semisextile virgo moon in 6th.
Guessing we have a lot of work cut out for us...lol
