In Leo more specifically. Anyone have any experience with this...To I'd think this isn't going to help with the Leo attention/ego any. Do these people tend to blow themselves up? Person I know who has this, thinks he knows EVERYTHING!IP: Logged |

I know someone who's got the conjunction in Virgo, and they're exactly the same. Huge ego, acts like a king, like he is the best, etc. ANNOYING. But, I am not sure it's due *only* to the Sun-Pluto conjunction.
Ps. I have a wide Sun-Pluto conjunction and I admit I can act that way SOMETIMES, not always fortunately! I think it being in Scorpio makes me more secretive about it lol.

Crazy Aquarian, getting what you think about this person from a Sun-Pluto conjunction alone is terrible astrology, unless either is involved with 1st ruler.A conjunction is the best aspect possible. That Sun-Pluto should work great for him. IP: Logged |

Yep you should probably look at other aspects that conjunction makes.IP: Logged |

do you think Pluto, can play out in a similar way to Uranus in the sense of "intensifying" / magnifying the energy of another planet it aspects? kinda like jupiter.

Yes, but it can also act like an annihilator, I've read somewhere that Pluto is so intense that sometimes it "swallows" the energy of the planet it conjuncts. Not sure what exactly this means but yeah it can act weird. I guess if that happens the only thing that's left is a wall of bricks. Example: Moon Pluto people are generally intense in their feelings but they can also cut short their feelings and become cold and detached. Not sure how that would play out with the Sun though... Pluto does not annihilate if one responds to it...pluto asks us to be masters of the self...pluto conjunct sun person would have to quit smoking and live a righteous life style and learn not to judge...but pluto brings will power unheard of if it aspects mars.....I have this conjunction in a trnasit but my natal pluto is well aspected so it's working out great for me... pluto rules the african race, it rules exremes, it rules alot of subtle themes that occur in everything, but pluto asks us to transform for teh better or suffer a mythological tragedy, in a sense pluto makes the anti-christ or the christ so to speak...the difference between saddam husein and ghandi is freewill, the energy behind them is the same.

agreed look at the other aspects as soon as you can to get a clearer picture of what is going on. Otherwise the interpretation is only one left of the stool.IP: Logged |

We talked about Sun conjunct Pluto and moon conjunct Pluto in my study group. They seemed to agree with Doux.It can be TOO much .------------------ If you forgive men their trespasses, your Heavenly Father will forgive you But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. I'm with Coffee on this one, alone Sun conjunct Pluto should be an awesome, favourable aspect which works very well for the person. In this particular case, you have the Sun in rulership in Leo, then exalted by a conjunction from Pluto. In any sign, Pluto would exalt the Sun though. It depends on other aspects, and of course synastry between others and the person. IP: Logged |

How can you doubt that that is why? Pluto intensifies things, being conjunct to the sun in Leo! How is that even needed to be explained. Other things in the chart may intensify or bring it down, but that is something that stands out as a strong aspect linked to bloated ego. The sun or pluto in leo alone would say that.IP: Logged |
