Hello! I am new here; have been lurking for quite awhile and I have finally gotten up the courage to post so here goes...
I have been seeing someone on and off for about 4 months. He has natal venus pluto trine, moon pluto sextile and I have sun conjunct pluto and venus conjunct pluto (almost exact). In our synastry we have sun conjunct pluto, sun square pluto, venus conjunct pluto and moon sextile pluto...needless to say it has been a battle of wills, issues of control, secretive feelings. It feels like a very primal connection even though have not yet slept together, like we know we should let go but cannot. I was wondering how you all experienced intense pluto in your relationships and if the dark side of pluto can be overcome. As a natal Venus conjunct pluto these issues seem to be themes in my relationships... issues of power and control and intensity. I fear I will not be able to have a "normal" relationship because i am highly plutonian and seem to attract these types as well.

I have a lot of Pluto contacts with my most recent lover. It was intense, deep passion, obsessive for sometime, and now we have backed off. Many sweet words were exchanged and adventures shared.(counting major asteroids Ceres, Pallas and Juno) My pluto is: trine her mercury, 4.13 orb
opposite her pluto, 0.17 orb
sextile her saturn, 0.37 orb
sextile her Uranus, 1.6 orb
trine my ceres, 1.88 orb
square my pallas, 4.52 orb
square my juno, 7.25 orb her pluto:
conjunct my sun, 2.1 orb
sextile my jupiter, 2.4 orb
conjunct my saturn, 6.28 orb
opposite my ceres, 6.97 orb

Thanks for the reply, carl...you were the sun person in the Sun/Pluto conjunction...how did this play out for you? She as the pluto, was she needing to be in control? I guess it would be hard to attribute this to one aspect though...considering you have a lot of pluto between you!! IP: Logged |

She wanted to take control in some regards, sometimes. But in general I was the one who actually did, most, if not all the time. But there were no real power struggles when we were together. I was generally seen as the more mature one too. Perhaps with distance, she might be making a "power play" or maybe I am looking into too much, as she has decided to take a break (hence pp comment). Hmmm...do you have a lot of pluto in your natal chart? Maybe that is why you were not victim to any power plays...because I have both sun and venus conjunct pluto I can easliy sense when someone is trying to exert control/power over me and that only makes me push back so it seems like a constant struggle to get past these issues to something based on real affection/tenderness...IP: Logged |

Hi,I generally find I am very good at reading people and I am maybe too suspicious, need to back off a little. Just Neptune Sextile Pluto by about 3 degrees orb Medium Coeli Scorpio almost exactly conjunct Sun Scorpio as well Pluto trine pallas If you go to Walter Pullen on astro, he ranks the planets and Pluto is my third strongest planet behind Saturn (1) and Mars (2). Scorp - Cap - Sag are my top three signs, in regards to power. (Juno, Pallas, Cere, Chiron, Node, are factored in these calculations and in the post as a whole). IP: Logged | |
