as Linda Goodman had said, you cant control your destiny until you know and understand your natal chart, astrology, and numerology

The pain one feels when doing something he shouldn't be doing, that is resistence from fate, you don't need astrology to do that, just faith in God...

*brings it on*

I had this theory once on free will vs fate... When you make a decision, you always make it based on your desires and personality. Those are often not ours to change, and mostly unconscious, which makes that we base the decisions we make on something that we don't have control over, suggesting that free will is , by definition, not free will.

Saturn hasn't rewarded me with much more than being a grumpy critic over my sun, but Jupiter has granted me quite a bit of luck and I hope it will continue

Optimism is more realistic than idealism.

And reason in what way? Like a reason for something, or just reason... you know? Sanity?

Astrology and I are on the same side. Well, usually. So no bouts there

Scorp sun , Gem moon, Cap mars and Sag nearly everything else! Well, except Pluto and Saturn :p

=)). Maybe in your chart saturn is not that well placed.. Well in my chart, saturn is really strong it rules 11 and it is in capricorn and 11th house(being in the house it ruled and domicile ) + conjuncts my north node ... I dunno, i started to like saturn transits....

Saturn is in 12th, and conjunct my sun, so I really don't like it at all. Even worse: it's in Scorpio.

The impression that I do get is that it's a bit of a grumpy critic over my ego. The only good that has come out of that is that I'm essentially a very humble person - but all my planets in Sag often make me appear otherwise

Do you mind me asking? Is your sister kind of dominant and a "grumpy critic" over you?

Same with me. Exactly the same. My Saturn is not even 1° away from my sun.

Same effect too, but all within myself. I wish I could ignore that Saturn every now and again, like you could do with your sister
