What happens when a planet is at 0? I've glanced over things talking about 0 and 29 being special in some way. How?

I think it supposed to amplify and be a pure expression of the sign.

Hmm I wouldn't say "increase", but more like make it even more important. It's like you have the "urge" to get there.

I've noticed that when planet on 0* it makes for stressless situation= easy to handle energy given by planet; And I may add,pure nature of planet itself,regardless of sign,e.g Moon on 0Tau also would have strong MoonCancer feel.
I've read that both 29 and 0 degree always teeter between 2 signs; like no man's land...

I have Virgo 0 degree ; i was born on August 23rd I used to think that I was a cusp sign because of this because I had other traits that can match Leo but turns out I had a lot of other aspects in my chart like Retrograde Uranus(makes me rebellious and a good leader when the time calls )other aspects that show my passionate temper ; A way to upset me is to say something stupid(Virgo)Mess with my family or someone I love or even someone who can't defend themselves(Mars in Cancer) Hurt me directly or try to hurt me or make a pass like you're going to hit me (Aries Moon). So I don't believe in cusps anymore and I would definately say that the above answers are right, I am pure Virgo with other signs mixed lol. I hate dirt,dirty people, I love being clean and cleaning, I like organizing things and analyzing and helping others. There really isn't one Virgo trait that I don't have XD

Aries points are only for cardinal degrees. But they do have extra power/importance. 29 being finishing something up frequently and 0's something new (29 pisces and taurus being your last incarnationhere). They also aspect the supergalactic center.

First sign of the zodiac is Aries, which has rulership over appearance and personality. Last sign of the zodiac is Pisces, which has rulership over loss and endings.

1st degree of a sign is like Aries. Last degree of a sign is like Pisces.

Divide a sign of 30 degrees into 12(signs) and you get 2.5 degrees each. These are called dwads, which are said to have an extra influence on the degree number of a sign, like decans. Though the dwads seem much more logical than the decans, which are divised by looking at the triplicity of the signs (fire, air, water, earth)

That and zero degrees is when a planet is NEW in a sign, and 29 degrees for when a planet is ENDING in a sign.

When looking at a natal chart and I see a planet at zero degrees, I will interpret that first, as it should be the most apparent feature of that persons life. Don't really do ones at 29 degrees, not fully got a grasp on that.

Oh my bad, you're right re: Aries Point. Though I'm interested in what you said in particular about 29 degrees Pisces and Taurus since I do have 29th degree Jupiter in Taurus. Im curious though...why Taurus too? I can understand 29 degrees pisces since that's the last sign of the zodiac, but Taurus is only the second sign??

I know someone with an exact Mars-Saturn opposition, both at 0°.
Do you think this will be a major "dynamic" in that person's life? I guess it will?

Maybe if the house cusp is at zero degrees, but I wouldn't as I don't use the house cusps in aspect with anything, just like the angles too. I use WHOLE SIGN which would mean ALL the cusps were at 0 degrees.
