I would agree with those of you who said Capricorn and Scorpio go well. I am a Scorpio and have always had really great relationships with Capricorns. My astrology books also say that it should work well.

I wonder if it is perhaps that Scorpio's need for privacy, actually plays out the same as Capricorn's need for subtlety?

I'm a cappy (with a gemini moon...lol. re: gemini moon thread) dating a cappy man with sag moon. I think that when you can personally involve yourself with a fellow sun sign it shows that you're comfortable with your own self. Even though we have opposing suns- we are a lot alike & it doesn't bother me too much. He's more intense than I am with his venus trine pluto but our views are compatible & how we relate. Same venus also but he's a pisces rising.
I can't deal with too much water...I've dated all the water sun signs & moons- needless to say I felt suffocated & would run fast! I stay away from them since it seems like they want to put me in a cage & throw away the keys. Dated an aries for six years & that was tumultuous. Always butting heads & he had a cancer rising. Big ole baby....tears & tantrums. Ughhhh.

I'm a cancer, but I found what those two people said about needing someone to bring them out f their shell very interesting. I find that this is also very true for me. However, recently I've realized that I can't connect with these extroverted signs in the soft, dreamy, sexy, and intense way that I can with the feminine signs. I find complete understanding with my fellow feminine signs, and that's sonething I will never have with a masculine sun sign, even though they are more exciting and get me out of my shell. A relationship with a feminine sign will start out much slower, but they are way sweeter, much more nurturing and attentive, and are able to respond how I need them to bc theyre able to understand me so well. I think that's very important for a cancer, bc we need someone who will read our moods and our kinds at times, since we hide in our shell so much. I have gotten along fabulously with Virgo and Taurus, even though it is much more slow-paced and boring than with, say, a sexy aries, gemini, or libra. But with the feminine signs i connect with their sou, and i realized, tho it's harder to find for me, some water and earth signs are the sexiest people alive to me. They tend to have square jaws and sultry earthy proportions.
I realized masculine suns are always people who i cant ever fully respect...I see them as little kids, whereas the feminine suns I see as responsible deep people like myself who i can take seriously.

Plus, there are lots of water and earth signs out there who are very outgoing. Most masculine signs are very outgoing, but i find they are TOO outgoing. Their morals dont match mine, they are less serious about commitments and relationships, and theyre also less sweet and less clingy though they may not come off that way AT FIRST. The feminine signs and i are more similar but we also have things that complement each other. It's about finding that feminine sign that's really outgoing but can still chill at home on the couch when you want to and that person who you can laugh and joke with but also have mushy moments with where you both nurture each other.

I'm not a Capricorn, I'm Gemini-Sagittarius.

For me it depends on where you meet the Cappy. I do not like this energy in the workplace, especially in a supervisory position over me; Sun, Moon, & Mars...ugh.

Outside of the office, the Capricorn with moon in Gemini, & moon Taurus are favorites.
