You know, I think I might actually be getting the hang of this transit thing - I found them so daunting that every time I started looking at them I'd then get in a huff and give up, but Coffee has made me see the value in persevering, and Quinnie has shown me how much wisdom could be mine if I can get through the learning stage. Thanks to you both, and to everyone else on here that is so wonderful! I feel totally inspired!

So, I have been studying my natal chart with transits, and here are the important aspects with relevant signs and positions (t being transit, n being natal - this seemed the sensible way to do it rather than write the words out each time!)

t Mercury, Aries H2 - Sextile - n Ascendant, Aquarius. Orb 0.88

t Venus, Aries H2 - Sextile - n Ascendant, Aquarius. Orb 1.03

t Mars, Aries H2 - Quincunx - n Venus, Virgo H7. Orb 1.73

t Jupiter, Aries H2 - Sextile - n Ascendant, Aquarius. Orb 1.73

t Saturn, Libra H7 - Sextile - n Neptune, Sagittarius H9. Orb 0.81

t Saturn, Libra H7 - Conjunction - n Pluto, Libra H8. Orb 0.89

t Uranus, Aries H1 - Quincunx - n Mercury, Scorpio H8. Orb 1.25

t Uranus, Aries H1 - Square - n Mars, Cancer H5. Orb 0.52

t Uranus, Aries H1 - Trine - n Saturn, Leo H6. Orb 0.25

t Uranus, Aries H1 - Quincunx - n Uranus, Scorpio H8. Orb 0.37

t Neptune - Trine - n Mercury, Scorpio H8. Orb 1.15

t Neptune - Trine - n Mars, Cancer H5. Orb 1.88

t Pluto - Conjunction - n Moon, Capricorn H11. Orb 0.04

So, would I interpret these how I would in a normal natal chart? Is a natal Saturn conjunction natal Pluto, the same interpretation as a transit Saturn conjunction natal Pluto?

If it is, then I'm good to go and can start reading the descriptions for these transits in my books and on the websites. Then will it be a case of bringing it all together and linking common themes etc?

According to my list, I have:

t Uranus, Aries H1 - Quincunx - n Mercury, Scorpio H8. Orb 1.25 -- it doesn't list an interpretation for the Quincunx :-(

t Uranus, Aries H1 - Square - n Mars, Cancer H5. Orb 0.52 -- I will be restless during this time, have inconsistent bouts of energy, learn to be more assertive, put myself out there a bit and be a bit stroppy.

t Neptune - Trine - n Mercury, Scorpio H8. Orb 1.15 -- I will be more sensitive, and artistic at this time, I will start learning more about psychic matters, I will be pleased, I will trust people and have good friendships.

t Neptune - Trine - n Mars, Cancer H5. Orb 1.88 -- my motivations and personal ambition is elevated and i become more aware of my service to others. I'll be less interested in what I personally get out of my efforts, and more intrerested in helping others.

t Pluto - Conjunction - n Moon, Capricorn H11. Orb 0.04 -- tba.

Right, I'm shattered so I am going to pat myself on the back and head on up the stairs to bed! I will look at this again soon, and continue my journey. If anyone happens to be reading, please please stop and give me any feedback or alternative thoughts on it all.

t Pluto - Conjunction - n Moon, Capricorn H11. Orb 0.04 - makes my feelings and emotions more intense, makes me focus on deep issues, its a time to face fears, and may make me more jealous or paranoid than normal, might feel challenged over women in my life (in my case I think that could be my mother in law).

Remember when using transits that the planets are your house rulers so for example Saturn is transiting the 7th house, but Saturn might also be ruler of the 10th house bringing an emphasis of career to the area of relationships.

Oh you're welcome, I genuinely mean it - I think you are fab!

I hadn't thought of that with regard to the transit planets, so once I've had my dinner I'm going to have another look at what I've done already to add that idea in.
