I do he tortures me over stuff that happend before I met him and we usually talk it through just in the middle of something he'll say oh you son of a ***** you think your slick and brings up somethings from years before I met him that I share with him I can almost sense it too cus I have a pisces ascendant and I soak up peoples emotions like a sponge ... wtf?!

you have some significant saturn stuff (sun conjunct saturn and moon opposite saturn) that could be putting a general strain on things. mars on moon is hot but that heat can turn on a couple.cancers (in MY experience and i only dated one but i read tonnes about them when i was) are really difficult to understand, very back and forth in their feelings with a good heaping of emotional testing. moon/pluto in leo sounds like he could have some control issues. i mean, it sounds like it from what you're saying too. what is the draw of this relationship for you? The draw we can talk for hours about anything I feel quite safe with him and understood for the most part I feel live i've met him so we can help each other through crazy stuff.

Yes like I have too suffer that I messed my self up that there is no change and see I don't expect him too wrap his head around my past "relationships" or friendships or any lame stuff before him and I don't want him to deal with it just why rub it in my face like that ? he's not insecure I can't define him and he's seriously like the smartest person I ever met. He sees you as young and stupid on some level and acts as if he doesn't have to be held accountable for how he acts, because there's a power disparity between you 2. He obv. has power and control issues that's part of the reason he likes someone so much younger.IP: Logged |

i hope this helps a bit cause i am in a similar situation.all that stuff you told him from your past or your friends past had to be sexual or in that nature. you got to confident. we cancer love to think about the past we are nostalgic its in our nature so when ever you do something in the present that ticks us off where always going to bring back the past. especially if its stuff we didn't really need to know but you told us anyway. so my advice to you is to reassure this man and tell him that you have changed even if you really havent. and keep all that cheating, lewd behavior, gossip for your girlfriends. just a opinion. I'm going to take a stab-could it be all that water (planets in cancer and scorpio) MY ex has a ton of water and no fire where I have very little water and a lot of fire-I am thinking that it is his water that holds all this grudges and hurts from the past and takes it out on you. He would pick fights with me constantly and will bring up things that happened 6 years ago!!IP: Logged |

Yes I also think it's the fire he has a lot of leo he wants to destroy me in arguements maybe it is the cancer that has mood swings and brings up the past when I have a ton of water I bring up the past too but not against him .. IP: Logged |

is there really a ~35 year age gap between you? one thing about people who seem like 'the smartest person on earth': often (if they are abusive) you will feel this way because they make you feel stupid and it is how they keep hooked into you. also the most abusive people can be the most intelligent (or seemingly so). remember that you are smart, and be smart. How did I miss that Pluto placement. THe way he treats you combined with the age difference is troubling. You are young, beautiful (i have seen your photo on another thread) and you are smart. Please don't sell yourself short. My heart breaks because I am nearly 48 and am still struggling with the after effects of a verbally abusive relationship. You deserve and will get someone better. This guy is taking advantage of the age difference big time-I do not like him-he could be my exes evil twin. IP: Logged |

And when he's mad like this he'll say that i'm taking advantage of him that I just want someplace to live in a few months and someone to pay for me not true I want too take care of him ! He's going through some stuff because he had a stroke and he's been partially paralized for a few years .. I was trying my best too encourage him in every way possible and he's so much different than other scumbags my age and I tried to show him that I told a lot of people too leave me alone and never speak to me again . (It wasn't a big loss either . ) Now i'm getting more respect and apologies from past people he taught me how to have some self respect but he uses it against me at the same time ..

I'm now realizing that he's been more like a mentor and he was helping me get rid of all of my past problems he isn't evil.
