I had a close relationship with a woman that broke down on the day Saturn was exact opp her Venus, last Sept. Both of us live in the UK both with partners from the UK when we come from different parts of the world. Thus having friends here outside our partners is rare. We got along very well (not romantic) and she was a great support to me during a tough period. Her only friends outside her partners are at work and when I left her place of work and tried to keep this important friendship alive she drifted away and I tried to find out what she wanted until she thought I was being too assertive, she wanted to avoid the question. She does not return my communications.

Since it is rare to meet someone who can be a close friend and I miss that support and friendship I am wondering if the affects of such a strong transit are permanent? She has Uranus conjunct Venus coming up mid to end of July combined with Saturn sq Saturn and Saturn trine Mercury at the same time and then Pluto sq Venus from that time until Sept. I have Neptune trine Neptune and Neptune opp Pluto almost exact now, which is probably why I am asking this question here.

Transits involving the outer planets tend to work at a slow burn. They have a more permanent affect on your life than quick personal planet transits, but usually it doesn't cause rash decisions, instead it presents a lesson or journey which doesn't accomplish itself overnight.

So, for example, if you think she's cutting off from you because of this transit, it's probably because she's cutting herself off from everyone as well. It's not about this person and that person, it's more about drifting into a phase of Venus/Saturn hard energy. It doesn't have to do with anyone in particular, and yet it affects everyone.

If you want to try to get back in touch with her, don't try to do it during her Uranus/Venus transit. Take baby steps, and do NOT go any further than that unless she also shows she will cooperate in trying to restore the friendship, especially in regards to communication between the two of you.
