So ever since transiting Uranus went into Aries my friends who have been single for a long time have started relationships, one of which just got engaged. Not only this, but I keep meeting people who are engaged and getting married very soon. Maybe Uranus in Aries isn't the cause, but it all feels so sudden that I can't help but wonder. Also, I keep finding myself near bridal shops. Never noticed them before, but it feels like they're everywhere now.Maybe I'm a little sensitive to this since transiting, progressive, and solar return Uranus conjunct my natal Moon, which happens to be my 7th house ruler. Has anyone else noticed or experienced this? Any theories? IP: Logged |

Well, I know 3 people who are engaged... but I think it's just because of my age (23, fresh out of college, etc).IP: Logged |

Lol, Dinobleue9. One of my friends from high school is getting married next month, a new friend is getting married in July, my best friend is getting married later this year, and a lot of new acquaintances are engaged. I have the feeling that two of my former crushes are about to pop the question to their girlfriends. A good friend of mine who one day was complaining about not having met anyone started dating her guy a week or so later. My brother who just got out of a miserable relationship met someone on his first attempt. Another friend is juggling three potentials. Amowls, there's something in the air. I live in the UK and it's normal for people to settle down when they're around 30 here. But all of the engaged couples I know, with the exception of one, are all in their early to mid-twenties. All I want to know is when is it going to be my turn? I mean the dating part because marriage is just blah for now.  IP: Logged |

It probably Saturn in Libra that's causing it, not Jupiter/Uranus in Aries, which is not partnership oriented in the least. But I was single for as long as I can remember until recently, now I have a steady boyfriend, and its weird. And T. Saturn is located in my 10th house at the moment and Venus rules my 7th house, hence a crystalization... IP: Logged |

Vertiver, I never thought about Saturn for any of this. It's in my 9th house and will conjunct my Juno later this year and vice versa. I can't find anything on this.IP: Logged |

Oh I don’t know if that's so strange. I reckon a lot of people get engaged in their early to mid 20s…
But it doesn’t go anywhere ^ Or sometimes they get married.. but then that doesn’t go anywhere. Very rarely – they get married and it lasts…. But even when it does last – it’s not necessarily what you would call a “happy” marriage. quote:

Yes, those would be the more serious engagements that actually GO somewhere.. and that end up as part of marriage statistics for UK.
(Unlike the early-20s engagements)

there is sure something, i have attended more weddings/engagement parties recently more than i did in 22yrs 
m having transiting uranus in my 7th house [house of partnerships, business partnerships too] and i recently entered a business venture, my life-long dream.. and it was SO sudden, surprised me like anything, but uranus did it for me IP: Logged |

Are you in your early to mid 20s? I think there's an observation bias in this lol. Like, you would notice something as eventful as a proposal but if you really looked around, most of the people you know are still not engaged. Of course some people will choose to get married in their early 20s, that's a normal occurrence. I think it would mean something if a bunch of 50 year olds you knew were getting married or teenagers. quote:

Also 23 and I've noticed people getting married/engaged but again, we're at that age where we just graduated college, and lots of us are ready to take the next "adult" step in our lives. If you want to look at astrology, I'd say Saturn in Libra but if you went around doing a poll saying "Think back to when you were 20-25, how many people you knew got married?"
