I read an old book in a library and it said you enter the 8th house at age 42 until death and 8th house is ruled by scorpio.

Is this true?

Having turned 42 last year and having scorpio in my 8th house, what does it mean for me?

It was an old book from circa 1930's.. it said something like "1st house from birth until six months, 2nd from six months to to years old"
I can't remember exactly the right ages/houses as was written. (I wish I had borrowed it now!)
But the age 42 8th house thing stuck in my mind, just because it felt personal to me.
