No point in worrying honestly. I have an 8th house stellum myself, so I'm too close to it to know what it means, but I'm fine ------------------ www.tarot-advice.co.uk IP: Logged |

Bump again.I too am curious about these stelliums and would be interested in discussion. Is one ultra focused in this one area, perhaps then not very objective? Or rather - "specialised" How to get a clear look at ones self? Varying perspectives? Too much of a good thing perhaps?

I'm not sure about stelliums in general but as an 8th house Sun I can speak to the weight of that house...I feel like it means continuous intense transformation throughout your lifetime...I can imagine having a lot of planets there creating a highly pressurized, high octane kind of effectIP: Logged |

I have a stellium in 8th as well. Sun - Scorpio Pluto, Saturn, Mercury, Jupiter - Libra. I agree - it seems to be for me anyway - about a life of constant examination and transformation. Check out what Liz Greene has to say about Saturn in the 8th. I found it pretty validating. There is also a book by Carmen Turner-Schott specifically about 8th house-heavy charts. I forget the exact title, but if you google her or Amazon search her - you'll find it. Really interesting. Her take seems to be that the focus on 8th house heavy people is healing from your own wounds so that you in turn can become a healer to others. In her opinion it's the life purpose for 8th house heavy people. IP: Logged |

I'm curious about this, if anyone has anything to say? A stellium is so focused in one area. Anything to say on being so much of one thing? Also, how does it go when others come along introducing such new elements to ones psyche? Eg, I don't have water, so it's quite foreign when i meet water signs and difficult. I imagine that, if I had a stellium in so much of one element, that would mean it would be hard to relate to other elements - more than just one (as in water in my case example). Like, thins case is a kind of classic for the kind of query I have, the moon out there in leo, yet, if this is accessed it's square to a huge amount of the chart.

i have taurus sun, moon, and mercury in the eighth. I don't know if that qualifies as a stellium but I definitely examine myself and my emotions obsessively, on point of exhaustion. It makes my personality very black/white, if anything, but i think it might be because it's taurus in the eighth. IP: Logged |
