Hey everyone,

I have been wondering just how much you feel progressed planets.

I think I felt the change when my progressed sun changed sign from libra to scorpio. I think things felt a bit deeper and darker and more intense.

But I have recently noticed that for the past like 20 years I have had progressed mercury in retrograde, but next year it will go direct in my second house. It rules my natal second and eleventh houses. I'm wondering how that may effect me.

Has anybody had any experience recognizing how these progressions playout?

Amph

In the years leading up to pSun moving to Cancer from Gemini I became uncontrollably tearful. Sometimes I would cry and not know why.

I don't know if I've always been like this, but people say I'm sensitive as though they have to walk on eggshells so as to not hurt my feelings. I think I have pretty thick skin. However, since pVenus joined pSun in Cancer, I've noticed I'm very very sensitive to hurts, slights, & people tone of voice.

A few years before I got into Astrology when only pSun was in Cancer, I remember complaining to my step mom; I'm too sensitive sometimes and I can't control it, ugh

Yes, I definitely feel my progressed personal planets.

The progressed planets also play a dominant role in the things and people you like and are drawn to. So, though we may not be conscious of the progressed positions, others pick up on these energies and gravitate to us.

I wouldn't know about my P-sun since its been in Leo since I was 5. However, I did notice a slight change when my progressed venus (along with moon) moved into Cancer like 2 years back. For one thing, I was more open to wearing summer dresses, whereas before I would *never* wear anything resembling a skirt outside of school (I went to a private all-girl's Catholic School...with uniforms).

When I divorced after 15 years marriage PR Sun was in conj to my N pluto.

When I was an student at the university PR sun was in square to my moon and in conj to my stellium N merk, N uran, N kaali.

My progressed sun moved into Leo two years ago and I definitely felt it. I suddenly became way more outspoken, self-confident and outgoing. I started feeling the changes about 1 month earlier. They were very obvious because I'd been feeling pretty depressed for a year before that.
My moon moved into Aquarious last december and I've became a lot more observant about people, and don't take things so seriously.
So, yes I do feel it, although I wouldn't say they "override" my natal placements at all, but they do give another colour.

I really feel my progressed planets. 80% are in Leo.
Pire picked it up and said" What are you---A Leo"

PS He did not mean it in a good way

I'm of the ill that progressions are a load of rubbish, as you can see anything clearly in life, if not by how nature intended. Meaning events can happen even if it was a bad day astrologically or a non eventful day in your natal chart.

There is a way to predict death, but I would never attempt. Strange things happen in this world, and one of them strange things is how many bloody charts these astrology students use, without thinking critically. Wasting time doing so. Stop wasting time.

Hey Nine

I think I got more sensitive too

I really think I felt my progressed sun changing signs from Libra to Scorpio. I think I became alot more introspective and things have felt alot darker. I have also had alot of family drama since it moved in there, and scorpio is on the cusp of my fourth. Also, the change of sign also coincides with when I started taking a very active interest in astrology.

Hey Benedict Moon,

I have been having a look at my progressed venus changing from scorpio to sag, which happened like nearly 20 years ago, so I can't really remember. But I'm thinking it's probably a good thing to have a bit of sag fun to add to the brooding scorpio venus

Have you had your progressed ascendant change signs?

Hi Popcorn,

Sounds like good times I wouldn't mind having a nice progessed venus or jupiter transit. Progressed venus isnt really hitting any major points anytime soon, but progressed Jupiter is just about to hit Natal Pluto, wonder what that could influence. I do have a nice solar arc jupiter conjunct natal venus picture, but nothing that has happened in the last year really feels like that. Not sure...

Hey Lehia2 and Ami

I have my natal ascendant and mars in leo, and now they have both progressed into virgo. I really really miss my leo, because I don't feel like I am as bold and confident as I used to be. I know its still there, just not like it used to be. I think all this virgo energy makes me worry and fuss more. Although the virgo is good for carrying out long research projects and study. Ahhh Leo.

Hey Coffee,

You seem to have quite a direct opinion about progressions.

I don't necessarily agree with you that you can see anything clearly in life, I think that is a rather broad statement, however I do agree that events can just happen regardless of the astrological weather.

In many ways it seems that progressed planets indeed have an influence on the energy we feel and the way we behave, however subtle, regardless of whether these charts are used as a predictive tool.

Relevance in debatable in any arena.

To each their own
