Children flock to me, adults avoid me like the plague. No seriously, I had this one little girl at the flea market (totally unknown to me, and whose mother described her as "shy in most company" mind you) wanting to show me her new doll, and even let me play with it...LOL. And meanwhile, it took this 20-something year old guy in my class 3 months before he decided I wasn't the bubonic plague anymore. It sounds dramatic, but if you saw his reactions to ideas like....being my lab partner, you would agree with me.

So what kind of psycho-vibing in the natal chart is this? Where you attract children almost automatically, but repel most of your own peers (guys, especially)...without even saying a word? Lets have fun and speculate?

If children are 5th house, I can see why you are lucky...I don't know about the other thing, though....

Oh dude.. I have this exact same problem. It's funny, before LindaLand was even loading I was thinking to myself, "man, I hate how most people perceive me, it's just not an accurate representation of who I blatantly am. Although that's more their fault then it is mine."

I think it may be our 5th houses in regards to children loving us a ridiculous amount.. you and I seem to have some good graces in that area with with your Venus and Jupiter and my Moon and NN conjunction.

I'm trying to see what we have in common in terms of people initially not trusting us. We have a watery 6th house in common. Maybe it gives us a hypersensitivity/hyperanalytical vibe when in school/work places and others that are in tune with that can pick up on it and make them uncomfortable? I think the analytical vibe of Virgo is a little daunting for most men initially, too.

I definitely agree that the 5th house is involved, but what would cause children and adults to have widely different perceptions of the same person? Is it maybe the house on the same axis (11th)...or the house that squares it (8th)?

*edit* Oh, sorry JFK...I didn't see what you wrote at the bottom. But yes, the 6th house is probably a good clue, if in water. And also, we have watery 3rd houses (local everyday life/communication)...and chart rulers in water houses. 8th and 12th, not exactly comforting places for most people.

This is just my feeling and I could be wrong. It may be the 12th house.
Children are not afraid of things that adults are.
You may take off a layer of defensiveness around children cuz you know it is safe.
They may know you are safe cuz you feel things deeply and as such retain some of your closeness to the way a child thinks and feels

I have a natural reserve around all strangers, but otherwise I'm just minding my own business. I don't go out of my way to send off weird energy of any kind, but perhaps some things are second nature.

Well JFK has a Cancer Jupiter (conjunct Chiron)...which is nice placement if you are a Cancer Sun + on the recieving end of their generosity. Girl in my class last week, literally saved my butt with it.

I was born on the 16th! That's funny, you're the third person born within that week of 1990 that I've found on these boards.
