How would you interpret an unaspected Jupiter in synastry? I often come across people whose Jupiter doesn't touch any of my planets, and I've always wondered what that means. Are they "not generous" towards me? Unforgiving? Lack of optimism when with me or something?

I am just putting this back up ,Doux. Let me ask you something.
Can you say that if a planet does not aspect another person--there is no simpatico with the other person in THAT domain of life?
I did not know that.

With Jupiter---how would it play out,I wonder?
Perhaps,no meeting of the philosophical minds?

Jupiter does not seem as bad as a personal planet like the moon ,Sun or Venus.
What do you think?

Could some of the lack of Jupiter be played out by having 9th house overlay?

Yea, they may not be exactly prone to giving you the benefit of the doubt, you won't be a drain on them exactly just because of this but there may be a lack of enthusiasm toward you unless there are, say, strong aspects like trines or conjunctions in fire signs in the synastry, aspects or placements that would have a marked enlivening effect.

Yes Ami, it seems that if a planet is not aspected in synastry, it is not "triggered" by the other person, so the theme of that planet is.. non existent (?).

Too bad people my age have their Jupiter in a place where it doesn't make ANY aspects whatsoever to my planets.
