Ok this is something I thought of...
Let me know if it has turned out to be true in your love lives!

Masculine Sun Sign women .... have disappointing relationships (maybe not horrible, but definitely not what they signed up for!!)... with men who fit the following criteria:

1. Feminine Sun Sign
2. Masculine Moon sign
3. Masculine Venus Sign
4. Feminine Mars Sign

They have to have all of the above ^
(Though I guess if they only had 3... that could still lead to negative experiences)

If you are a girl with an air or fire Sun sign... let me know whether you have dated a man who fits 1/2/3/4 - in the past... and how it turned out!

Bump.

This doesn't apply to me, but I do find the concept interesting!

well I am 14* Aries in Sun, Moon, Venus and Mars...masculine all the way. And I am currently dating a male who's Aquarius is in his Sun, Moon, and Mars but Venus in aries...so mostly feminine (where it matters).

In my relationship currently I would say I would be more on the " my way or the highway" person, as I am this way "naturally" I do prefer the "alpha male" type of men. He lacks this in most areas BUT, he makes up for it with his affection and attention to datail as I long for tenderness..lol

Aquarius is a masculine sign.

Anyway, I have a mostly masculine chart except for my Venus Neptune, and Pluto.

I dated a Pisces Sun, Leo Moon, Venus in Aqua, Mars in Taurus and it sucked.

Finally, someone more Aries than me
Yes, Aqua is masculine. And yes to the feminine planets, from what I've experienced it doesn't matter if it's a luminary or Venus or Mars. They suck big time - again, from experience. I remember I once read that yang and yang go together well as well as yin and yin (I thought that it was a crappy theory, since I believed in complementarity, but in reality alpha women will always search for the alpha male to bow down to )

Betty, may I ask why you chose to put the feminine/masculine signs in this order?
Would it make a difference if the guy had a masculine Mars and a feminine Venus?

If this line up is true, I'm screwed with the soulmate that keeps popping up in my dreams that I'm getting a minor push to be with. I just found him on facebook and he's single now, though was married when I met him. We have uber harsh saturn aspects. The dreams are indicating that he would give me a lot of material stability and sexual w/e but we would find fulfillment differently, so I'm not too enthusiastic about it. His chiron is conj my north node. The exact moment I met him the thought in my mind was that it's like we came here (to earth) together, and I know we go way back. I know I'm not supposed to end up with him long term if there's any chance of me staying with anyone. If anything happens maybe I'll update this.

One of my best relationships had 2/3/4, and another relationship with harsh saturn/mars but was otherwise good and had 2/3/4.

Yes. It would make a huge difference.
I'm glad you asked!

I am not an astrologer and I do not have clients, so I can't base anything on serious statistics.. I have only looked at my own chart and friends' charts - In total I have about 150 charts on astro.com, but I only know some of their relationship history.. so it would go down to about 50 or so!
I've looked through a few of these and my idea is basically that - Masculine Sun Sign women do better with a man who has either a masculine Sun or a masculine Mars (or possibly both).

If the guy has a masculine Sun, things do not usually end badly. I mean even if the people don't end up together in a serious relationship... it is usually an "ok" breakup.. with no hard feelings.

Once a guy has a feminine Sun, it gets more complicated. If he has a masculine Mars - it can still be ok.. This is like a bonus point lol It helps!

On the down side - if he has a feminine Mars, he can seem too feminine in the relationship. There may be too much of a role reversal. However this alone is not the 'kiss of death' so to speak.
But - if you add to this... that this feminine sign man would also have a masculine Moon and Venus.. for some reason this makes him seem even *more* submissive to the masculine Sun woman (mainly if the Moon/Venus are in aspect to her Sun).

Theoretically, this kind of role reversal might be OK to some people.
But in practice what I have seen happen is.. the woman is extremely put off, while the feminine sign man is very turned on.. so he keeps trying to seduce and get her to play masculine role in pursuing him and being the sexual aggressor (he engages in very attention-seeking behaviour.. whether it is overt or more passive).. while she is simply repulsed by the whole thing - and eventually drops it.

It doesn't have to be doomed. Sorry to rain on your parade here!

Were they masculine Sun Signs?
That was my main thing... that with a masculine Sun Sign it's easier overall.

Yeah they were masculine sun signs. I've only been with one feminine sun sign that I know of for longer than a week or two and that was a virgo with a taurus moon, libra asc.

Well, you know why that is right??? It's because the Moon and Venus (ESPECIALLY) signify what the man looks for in a woman. So if they're in masculine signs, they'll be looking for a woman who has masculine signs. My Pisces Sun/Aries Venus guy friend really likes dominant woman. He almost always dates fire signs and he is fascinated by air signs. Part of the reason for this is because he's more passive, personality wise, whereas the fire/air signs give that little extra push. HOWEVER, his Mars/Venus are also in fire, so I think, when it comes down to it, he actually becomes far more aggressive after awhile. It just takes him a little time to warm up. I wouldn't call him a shrinking flower or super feminine by any means. He's just laid-back.

Personally, I think that it has more to do with chart balance than anything. I personally have 4 planets in feminine signs (including sun and other personal planets) and 6 in masculine signs. Mars is in a masculine sign, Venus in a feminine sign... So, I tend to like that split down the middle. A little bit of feminine, a little bit of masculine, and we're good...

That's just going to be true in general, since air/fire signs will be in trines and sextiles to each other and the same with earth/water signs. It's an easier understanding of the 'place' that the other person is coming from.

which signs are masculine and which are feminine?

having all those planets in Fire signs, i'm masculine myself. i've had a bad experience with guys with their Sun in Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces.

i got along well with Aquarius and current Virgo. (eta; i'll look up the rest when you tell me which signs are masculine and feminine... )
