I am glad to have joined you!My name is Anna-Lena and I live in Sweden in a little village ten miles north of Stockholm. I have studied astrology since 1996 and there is still so much to learn. I have learned a lot from this site the last year. Asc/Merc/PoF/Venus conj in Cap 1 st house.
Sun/Moon conj in Aqua 1st house.
Mars in Taurus 2nd house
Jupiter in Virgo 8th house cusp

The thing with studying astrology for a long time, say 15 years, is that you learn about the planets, houses, signs, and aspects, and then you start to learn about the asteroids, fixed stars, declinations and parts. I guess it seems like there is always more to study. I'm very much into leaving the parts, declinations, fixed stars, and asteroids in the rubbish bin they belong to. There are many pages added to the 'learn astrology' book which really don't need to be added. IP: Logged |

I'm not a big fan of asteroids and parts and all that stuff either. Trying to keep it simple.

I am not gonna argue asteroids with the likes of Coffee  I just want to say that when you find the RIGHT asteroid,it can illuminate the whole natal or synastry. ------------------

Thanks for the welcome! :-)I really have not studied asteroids that much yet. But I have read a lot about them since I first landed here. Seems fun! There is 265 Anna. I will check that one out for sure. But maybe it just refers to Jesus Grandmother and not to me. What ever could she and I have in common?! My grandchild is a girl! :-) As for Arabian Parts I must confess that the day I married transiting Mars was sextile my Part of Marrige. Progressions, transits to progressions and above all, transits to progressed composites is the agenda these days. My Sun progressed into Aries four years ago. Since then my eyebrows changed shape (ram-wise) and my hair has turned curly and redish. It´s rather spooky I must say. :-) IP: Logged |
