No, I'm not feeling lonely. I showing you a way of making this house centred way of astrology logical for all to read charts with.

House rulers
Take the 1st house ruler in your chart, and then look at what it closely aspects. Let's say you are Leo rising so have Sun as 1st ruler. Sun is conjunct Saturn natally. You can then look at which house Saturn rules to link this into your chart. As 1st ruler, Sun, is conjunct Saturn, you say say that you love working and getting bathed as both 1st and 6th rulers are in excellent aspect with each other. This is how to link two or more house rulers together.

Isolation
If you are a planet centred person, this will please you. Take the natural meanings of a planet for this one. Using the above example, you are Leo rising. Sun is conjunct Saturn. Instead of linking two or more house rulers to find a meaning, you just link ONE house ruler to a planet to give meaning to that particular house. So, instead of saying something about work, you isolate the house ruler, and take the meaning of the planet it aspects to colour the house ruler in question. With Sun conjunct Saturn, you can see that your 1st house (personality) is playful (Leo) while also appearing mature (conjunct Saturn)

The key to understanding this is that you use 2 or more houses for the house rulers interpretation, and only 1 house ruler for the isolation. You work from the outside in.

My 1st house ruler honestly doesn't aspect any major object! I have a singleton Jupiter... or is the term "peregrine"? I always get those mixed up...

How does that go then in terms of isolation?

Ah... I think I get it (sorry about that ) It's not about isolation of the self, but isolation of the houses, right?

So moving swiftly on to house 2, Saturn (it's ruler, of course) is conjunct my Sun, which rules house 9. So then I combine the meanings of both houses?

I'll be back later on to figure out exactly how to combine a house of the physical, material and financial with the house of religious dogma, higher education and foreign travels... because the only thing that pops out of my perverted mind right now with that combination is "Kama Sutra"

The wrong type of isolation, Aya. I don't mean singleton, I mean isolating the house ruler itself, and instead of linking it to another house by ruler, you link it to a planet in the way that many do on here, by it's original function eg Jupiter 1st house ruler in aspect to Mercury means your 1st house (appearance and personality) is flavoured by Mercury (thin, flighty)

So, the isolation is when you take the house ruler, and use the old way of thinking about a planet (communication = Mercury) to give more meaning to the house description.

I go on nothing is unaspected, so look for the best aspect it makes.

You can combine house 2 and 9 rulers like that. Money earned from religion.

Or you can isolate the 2nd house ruler, Saturn, and say that you have a mature attitude with Money (Cap on second) which you spend on buying games (Sun) - instead of linking to a house.

Both are possible. Not quite figured out the verbs, adjectives and etc etc part of the language. It's hard, but this is the best way to do astrology, that I've worked out.
I know the house centred astrology works best and believe me, after learning astrology, I was confused till I did it this way. I've been looking at astrology in an objective way (I know what that means) in an attempt to cut through the cr@p and sh1t that people teach and find the best way for people to do it. This has taken many years, so it ain't some off the cuff theory, it's real astrology into practice.

My 1st house Ruler, Jupiter (6th), makes an exact Square to my Moon (3rd). So I'm more emotional and more of a homebody than most Sag. Asc.?

If you add that to personality, yeah, but more like you are more of a sensitive person about your looks. That is if you do this by isolation. By house rulers, that's 1st and 8th in aspect, would could well mean you are quite sexual (square) and maybe something involving Moon type features or prefer to be on your back, during.

Thanks I've still got kama sutra in my head now, but money earned from religion sounds interesting as well.

Perhaps in my case it means money spent on myself, or on hobbies? I do love playing games, but I can't spend too much money on them - at least not compared to what I see other gamers spending on their games...

I also do not have any major aspects from 1st House Ruler to anything else...

Next best thing looks like a biquintile - I will ignore the others which contain the word 'square' : )

So with House Rulers I have:

1st house ruler Mercury biquintile 2nd House Ruler Moon.

Have looked biquintile up and it says -'similar to Quintile'. Looked Quintile up and it says 'talent/vaguely fortunate circumstances'.

Ok, so I am talented with wealth/self-worth?

Looking at Isolation now, Mercury 1st ruler bq Moon 2nd ruler.

I am communicative whilst also appearing emotional.

Coffee, I would now like to communicate to you that I am now greatly needing another cigarette : )

I don't use words other than good/bad/very good/excellent etc with aspects, so can't comment on the talented part. Self worth is a good one.

Communicative is part of a mental facility, not personality. Appearance could be wiry, while looking quite pale. I know it's hard to separate what is personality and what isn't. You got the right idea.

Thank you for telling me about the cigarette bit. I'm attempting to stop, but it seems the universe is doing everything in it's power to help me not stop. I just can't get this last little thing that I wanted, in order to stop.
