So, I have the ole neptune in 12th house syndrome. I have the usual traits, mainly psychic awareness - I am 99.9% spot on with what I pick up, very rarely do I feel a situation out wrongly. What I want to know is - there are occasions where I feel something, but have no way of proving it, and I just want to know if there's anything with this placement that promotes self-delusion? (what with it being in the house of self-undoing) Could I be 'projecting' somewhat, and because I cannot prove or disprove it, I just go along with it? Does that even make any sense, lol?! Also, if you have a 12th house neptune, how does it affect you and the way you perceive things? Thankies!

Snarly I have a 12th house Neptune but I will have to think about the question cuz it is a DEEP question.
About self delusions/deceptions, this has been my main problem.
It is more of taking on what my mother inculcated in to me .
The delusions were about my sense of self .

I hear you, Ami. I was always told I'd never be good/clever/together enough to do what I wanted. Maybe that is why I chose to travel the 'alternative' path - mum and dad never experienced those things, so could never judge me on how I did...

You mean like self-fulfilling prophecies? It happens to me ALOT, and I have Neptune in the 12th. Never associated any self-undoing with this placement though, because I always thought of Neptune being at home in the 12th. Anyways, most of my self delusion is tied to my self-esteem issues. Never thought of the 'projection' being it, but you probably have a point. If I'm totally wrong about what you mean, I apologize for being irrelevant. LOL

I guess I can't answer that. For me personally, the only thing that would make it so is the opposition it makes to mercury in my chart. Other than that, its feels at home there to me. I'm perfectly okay with keeping my mystical and intuitive bent to myself (12th house = secret self).

I have to say, I have neptune in 1 and I'm prone to the same thing, snarly. I often think it's my moon in 7th that does most of the damage.

I'm talking about the exact same thing, feeling someone's emotions and responding to them. I've often been told I was deluded myself but even a conversation tonight proved I wasn't wrong altogether.

Not sure what you do have in 7th, but I do think it could have an influence. My moon is in 7th and I really pick up on people's emotions rather easily.

I hardly have Neptune in 12th, but I have it in 1st and I do believe neptune around the ASC gives you psychic awareness. Whether it's in 12th or in 1st.

Aya - I have nothing in my 7th, but I do have a pisces moon in 2nd. Maybe it's all that piscean energy? Never thought about neptune being at home where it is, lol, I always miss the bigger picture!

i have it in the 12th near my AC and i'm super intuitive and often psychic and pick up, even EMBODY other peoples' feeling without realizing it, frequently. but i also have pisces SN. it's a double edged sword forsure. i'm ALWAYS aware of what people are feeling but if i'm not totally clear i don't realize it's THEIR feelings and i become a projection screen, arghaghgh.

i'm sure anyone can be deluded and everyone makes mistakes but i can assure you that i'm almost always completely accurate when i feel other people; the only times i'm not is when my self worth is low and i get paranoid (like in relationships when i assume two and two equals 37). i had very unsuportive parents too who tried to doom my life to failure from the beginning, did not support or believe in me. wonder if there is some correlation here. hmm.
