Topic: Help - marriage on the rocks?

I have been married for over 10 years to a guy who in many respects a good man but.... the marriage feels to me to be practically dead. He says he has "no idea what love means" - I feel he married me during a period when I was in poor health and he liked the ego boost it gave him to be of help. Now I am moving onwards and upwards, but I feel almost like he would have liked things to stay the way they were. I feel stifled and angry and depressed all the time... I'd love to hear what kind of impressions people get from our synastry chart (or should I post the composite)?

PS, I'm the Gemini sun sign, he's the Scorpio.

I noticed a couple of quincunxes- (i'm not sure its Sun quincunx Neptune or Sun quincunx Sun) The key to handling quincunxes is, firstly, knowledge, and then integration. Awareness that the discrepancy lies within the personality is essential before integration can occur. Quincunxes can often make us feel that external events or other people are forcing us to separate, compartmentalize, or redirect the energies of the planets involved. We need to understand that it is, in fact, ourselves who are compartmentalizing. These needs are especially difficult to integrate because they are not as "in your face" as aspects like the square or opposition, and the nature of the quincunx itself is awkward. Look for quincunxes in a composite chart to see what basic energies of the relationship the couple will naturally tend to compartmentalize. The planets involved in a quincunx in the composite chart can be the source of weakness in the relationship, unless they are consciously worked on.

Venus square saturn is one of the most difficult aspects.Does this description ring true. You mentioned finding more freedom...Is he jealous of your newfound freedom now that your health is better and you are less dependent on him? Although this relationship may begin with a strong feeling of comfort and compatibility, over time, some very challenging dynamics are likely to surface. Question about Saturn sq Venus...My boyfriend and I both have it in the natal, and double whammy'd in Synastry. Because it's so present in both of our lives, and relationship, does it make it easier to handle? I don't think I have felt the Saturn sq Venus that much. IP: Logged |

Your Venus sq his Saturn, Moon opp Moon, his Pluto sq your Mercury, his Sun opp your Saturn, Pluto sq Mars, Your Saturn & Venus opp his Mercury.It seems like a lot of tense aspects between the romantic and communication planets. Do you guys have trouble communicating or do you think your thought processes are different in a bad way? ------------------
