I am a very smart 16.5 year old! I know a lot of things from school stuff that they ask us to know to Quantum Physics; I always struggled in math however. I got B's and C's in it. The rest of my classes are either an A or a B. I have also taken A.P and HOnors classes and have aced them all. I always hear crap about how air signs are smarter than other signs but I know a lot of Aquariuses who may have a high GPA but are stupid when it comes to life, relationships, and a lot of other stuff. One time an ex friend of mine ****** me off saying how her GPA was higher which meant she was smarter bu she can't even spell.. I had a bad freshman year because i was going through hell and back with home life and inner conflicts. Everyone I know says im very intelligent and can disect stuff that no one else knew had a hidden meaning.I have Virgo Sun,Virgo Mercury,Aries Moon. I do however knw of two people who have Gemini moon/Aqua Sun and are very smart.Does anybody else hate generalized statements like these?

I have no air in my chart, whatsoever...I'm antisocial, but I consider myself a smart person...
I struggled with math trhough my schooling too, and I do think that Air signs and/or people with significant amount of air in their charts are indeed better at math, than others...

I only have Venus in Libra in 9th House and it's also my MC. I'm antisocial too. I like to stay hidden maybe because of the excessive amount of Scorpio in my chart/my sun being in 8th house. I never was understood anyways so either way it's good. My dad has a lot of Libra/Virgo in his chart and I think he's an average math person x3. My best subjects are English,Literature,Social Studies/Humanities Studies(Psychology that sorta thing),Scienes(Chemistry,Physical Science,Physics which I don't understand how cos I am not that good in math lmao).

For me, people can hurt me in areas where I feel insecure.
I MUST have the insecurity first though or else it won't matter.
I like my chart.If people diss Gemini I don't care cuz I like it.
People have threads on Gemini being superficial.I know I am not.
Like everything else,one's insides make or break one

i hate to be generalized (scorpio sun... don't even start!)

i have air in my chart, but all of them are libra.

i know a person with a lot of aquarius and she's even more hopeless with maths than i am (not an easy task )

I have a lot of air and I hate math. I don't have the patience for it unless the numbers actually mean something. Ie: statistics is fine, algebra is wack. I'm really good at geometry and trig I guess but calculus? No thank you.

Either way, I'm an english/history gal as opposed to math/science.

Anyway, basing intelligence off of sun signs is pretty dumb.

Yes. I'm A Cancer Sun + 4 other objects and I do not aspire to be a mother nor do I wish to baby my partners. Its probably the most annoying stereotype (among many) about Cancer that I want to stab with a knife. =__= I am going into healthcare, I have a side interest of Literature and history, and my IQ is pretty good compared to the average population.

Man, and I thought I was bad with math just because I had no Air in my chart, what a misconception!...I feel better now, with so many Air-people complaining about math...

I knew a Gemini that I got along with but she was a bit of a *itch when it came to other people's feelings.. I've met an as&hole with every sun SIGN of the zodiac almost now that I think of it..._. I'm glad you aren't letting them make you upset I like Virgo but people make us seem like some sort of nitpicky as*holes. YEA,I get angry when people play around when it's not a time to play but I have a sense of humor but they say Virgo is humorless. HA. HA.

Yes! I hate all the negative stuff associated with scorpio even tho I am very scorpio 4 scorpio planets? and scorpio 8th house stellium I can tell you majority of the time I feel my pisces ascendant and come of as a pisces . I have a leo moon too which is in denial a lot and wants attention also loving .. but the scorpio stuff i'm automatically sneaky? no I will sit and go out of my way to explain but I get lost in sometimes cus I question every emotion I often get lost when watching stuff on t.v especially crime stuff I think what goes through peoples minds what brings them too that not everyone wants to turn out to be like that but idk my mind will like go there that might be pisces/scorpio . I love when my boyfriend talks about how only sting myself in the end , or how i'm obviously lying when i'm just nervous that he thinks i'm lying and how i'll f*cking explain something beyond explaining -.-

I have heavy amounts of Earth in my chart with some water and a couple fire/air. I used to be a Math major, but switched to just a Math emphasis. I love Math!!

The smartest Maths person I know has Pisces Mercury Intelligence is your IQ not your sun or Merc sign. Ability at maths is your IQ + the ability of your teacher

Ugh! Libra with Aries Moon. I was horrible at math; didn't see the point in anything after division, but I did well enough to pass. My favorite subject was biology/anatomy. The only thing Libra-like about me is that I wanted to be a fashion designer in hs until everyone else claimed the same thing. I'm blaming Venus and Mars square Uranus for changing my mind on that one. I had a pretty rebelious streak, still do. I never wanted to fit the status quo. Oh, I was anti-social in high school, but not so much anymore. However, I do avoid people who talk a LOT. They usually talk about nothing and are full of ****.

The signs are only a small part of who we are, but the aspects describe the real you.

Schools in America are designed to program the best available receivers. Meaning, the "smartest" kids are actually the most OBEDIENT kids. The kids getting top marks aren't smart, they are just well programmed. The "dumb" kids see through the trap and conditioning of the school system and they either give up or drop out to go do something that doesn't require paying the Slave Masters.

Actually, I associate a love of Maths with water signs: Pisces/Cancer/Scorpio (Mainly PISCES - not just Sun Signs, though). This is not what you normally read on astro-sites.

It is usually men with those ^ influences.
One perspective is that, this is due to 'conditioning', and that men are more encouraged to do well in subjects like maths and science... Others say it is biological, and men are just naturally more left-brain.
I agree that it is conditioning personally.

So I guess, in my experience that leaves math-lovin' to the water guys!

Actually Betty, you can pick up an astrology booklet from grocery stores which associate abilities with Sun signs. Example: I bought one at 15 that said Libras are the best at math. Unfortunately, it doesn't stop there. There is an unbelievable amount of false information floating around between the pages of astrology texts. Many say that Sagittarius is a philanderer and that's not true. Most people who skim the surface of astrology will say that Pisces is intuitive, Aquarius is a genius, and Libra is a social climber. They don't realize that astrology is so much more and you have to wonder who's writing these ridiculous pamphlets.

I was just saying in terms of Virgo being *smart* - that's actually one of the typical generalisations.. because Virgo is a Mercurial sign.
Also (apart from Sun-Sign generalisations.. there are other-planet generalisations)... and rigormortis doesn't just have Sun in Virgo.. She also has Mercury in Virgo (which is a dignified Mercury) - which again.. would be generalised as "intelligent".
