thoughts on how this might manifest? It's Venus in Taurus opposite Pluto in Scorpio (not sure of the houses). It's a 2 degree orb and my own Pluto (we're a few months apart) makes an exact opposition to his Venus so I'm getting curious about this...IP: Logged |

I have this opposition ^ same signs. And I also have it with everyone in my generation.imo.. It will play out much more strongly if you also have a Venus/Pluto aspect in natal.. or a Mars/Pluto aspect. IP: Logged |

Do you mind sharing some of your experience with it? I have mars conjunct Pluto in the 7th and my Venus is exactly semisquare Pluto too...IP: Logged |

"It will play out much more strongly if you also have a Venus/Pluto aspect in natal.. or a Mars/Pluto aspect.""I have mars conjunct Pluto in the 7th" This = Sizzle! couldn't resist. It's like Mars/Venus conjunction in synastry with added Plutonian pleasure. So irresistible. You'll find that you two get each other on a level where it feels that others would rarely, if ever, understand. Lots of nuanced encounters and revelations that are hard to confide in others you'll willingly share. Lots of intimacy here. That's my experience, when the attraction between the two is mutual. Even if there is no consummation here there are still strong feelings exchanged that work to make you feel that you are not so alone, the way that Pluto can often feel. Healing potential here, too. And at least an admiration of the other person's sexuality. IP: Logged |

thanks Lonake that gives me a more hopeful perspective. To be honest I was a little scared of that aspect...but already today I was kind of spinning my wheels in a typical compulsive/obsessive Plutonian way and broke down and told him some stuff and he was actually very receptive and sweet about it...and I felt understood. It gave me a little hope about my Pluto bucket of relational crap lol. If anyone else has experience with this opposition I'd love to hear more thoughts. IP: Logged |

starborgi you are the pluto so you have the power mehehehe I think the way you activate his chart is going to be more generational (lots of people are activating his opposition from around your age) and he has probably been dealing with it his whole life. However as you two are only a few months apart I would say that this is more significant for you two. The aspect is probably going to make him a very passionate, intense lover?!!! Possibly jealous... maybe manipulative but hopefully not (this will highly depend on the houses that are activated and the other aspects in the chart) and it would play out differently with different people depending on how they are activating this aspect and others in the chart. But it's hard to tell how it will play out exactly because there could be other aspects or stronger signs in the chart (eg a stellium in gemini) that may dampen this effect down. People are complex and one aspect does not a person make. As Ami Anne would say it is just a slice of his personality. Say it fell in a cadent house, this immediately would lessen the effect. Pluto retrograde would too. Also keep in mind that Pluto used well is a transformative and healing quality (as Lonake said) and can also be very positive when the energies are channelled nicely by the natal person. He is probably used to intense relationships though (I am assuming) and doubt he is scared of intense emotions (unless he has a bazillion planets in Gemini hehehe)

I know someone who has this opposition in the same signs. And we're just a year apart, so our plutos are also conjunct. quote:

I have both a Venus/Pluto and a Mars/Pluto aspect. How do you think this could play out between the two of us? What about the healing potential? Does it help at all that my natal venus trines my pluto? When you have trine, don't you the power to use your love to make positive changes in others?
