I don't meet people I think I have past life connections with every day, particularly from off earth, but please don't think that means anything earth-shattering. Can you link me your facebook?

Sure. Just search the name Sanche Nuss and I will be the only one because I created that name.

I have many soulmates as it is. Currently I seemed to be dragged back into venus conj south node soulmate.

We don't have the best synastry, I do like to keep in touch with soulmates when it's appropriate to.

Mochai - Well my intuition MAY be failing me.. but I am getting really good vibes here lol

I don't think I'll elaborate ^ because I don't want to creep either of you out - so I'm zipping it.

-------

' We are just sharing names'

LOLLLLLL 'B' (can I call you B on here?) .. I know - you're just sharing names, that's exactly why I said ^ "I won't elaborate!"

Betty, I have a leo asc. I can tell you from seeing many of my past incarnations I tend to pick attractive bodies. It's a soul issue of mine to like that kind of attention and it's something about me that irks me on a personal level. I'm happy with my local soulmates, and one of my totems is suggesting I date someone here I have better synastry with. It's a sheer miracle that venus conj south node soulmate has kept me around for so long.

Ok, this is sooo interesting Mochai! I looked at your pics ^ and you look a lot like a girl I was best friends with in my first year of high school, but she had to move overseas and we lost touch.

AND - the worst thing is, I don't actually have her chart. I've always tried to guess what influences she may have had. I was going for Aries/Scorpio..
I can't actually remember her exact surname either so wasn't able to find her on FB - It's pretty annoying. I don't like losing friends like that.

Do you mind posting your chart?
I'm sure I must've seen it before on LL, but I can't remember it. All I know is that your sun sign is Saggy! lol

Cool! Thanks Well your MC is on my Sun, so my Sun is closely trine your Sun/Uranus and your AC -- and sextile your Mars.
Plus we both have Capricorn stuff.. and conjunctions happening there. My DC is 0' Cap.. so your Merc/Neptune is -bang on- my DC lol If you were a guy, I'd propose!

And - my Venus in Taurus is opposite Pluto in Scorpio. You have a Moon/Pluto opp on the same axis.

It would make perfect sense if the girl I mentioned, had a similar chart to you, because it seems to fit!
It's interesting you don't have personal planets in Scorpio though.. but maybe I was confusing a Capricorn vibe with a Scorpio vibe... or it could just be your Moon/Pluto opposition!

I actually have a Pisces friend who also has that particular opposition at the same degrees as you ^.
I'm curious - are you friends with anyone who has the Venus/Pluto opp, conjunct yours?.. and if 'yes' - Do you find that they *get* you more than most people?

I'm not friends with anyone who has venus conj my moon, but the men that have venus in the early degrees of taurus I fall excessively hard for, however they didn't have the venus opp pluto natally. I have my theories that the bipolar soulmate I fell for in the extreme was a late aries and would have had venus opp pluto. I asked to get his birthdate in my dreams and the one I got had that, however I wrote down a different date in my dream (lol).

Yeah, I get that I give off a heavily scorpionic vibe. Four draconic planets there.

no it doesn't need drums and bass. some songs are better with 1-2 instruments. when you start incorporating too many instruments you might just lose the essence of it. even if you pull it off with more instruments, it doesn't make this version worse and the other better.

well, it IS a nice song, it's just not the style i prefer to listen to. if it was, i might be more in favour of it?

I think the exact opposite. The more you layer a song the more magical it is. There is *****stuff**** like Omar Rodriguez Lopez music that is so layered, you will hear different sounds in it years later. You are probably more simple minded, so you prefer simple stuff.

um... "simple minded"? i hope you didn't mean it in an offensive way.

and i don't prefer simple music. i like music that i consider good. it can be with a single instrument, basic combination of multiple instruments, or an entire orchestra. just because a song is made with a few instruments, it doesn't make it less of a quality.

i said the song you posted is good, as a simple song. and that's just my opinion.

Not generally my kind of music either but it's interesting! It has something Plutonic about it... Underworldly, but that could of course just be the mention of "purgatory" in the song

And a bit of Saturnian feel too.

No, Not offensive at all. Some people are designed for complex styles of music and others for Justin Bieber and the more accessible stuff that fill up the lower chakras. It doesn't make anyone better, just different functioning organisms. I appreciate the compliment.

um, i get the feeling i just should not be engaging with this, but just to clarify, are you saying non-offensively "simple minded" = can't take complex styles of music = likes Justin Bieber… and you remember you said i am probably simple minded?

did you mean it that way or did it just come out wrong? you just threw a bunch of question marks above my head. and it's making me a bit nervous.

I'm probably going to regret this, but I feel the urge to pitch in here...

I don't think there is any "simple mindedness" when it comes to music. There is "average" (pop music) and then there are specific genres. Any of those can be complex or simple. Even Debussy composed music which could be played by either just piano, just violin or an entire orchestra. With one instrument you only get one level in the composition, but the technique used to produce the composition, remains the same.

In that sense, you really only have two types of music: "good" and "bad". Someone who can't compose, makes bad music. Someone who can, makes good music, regardless of the layers in that music. If a single composer can create compositions which have different layers and different complexities, that surely means that it does not take a simple mind to make - or even appreciate - single-layered music.

Sometimes a song just sounds better when there are less layers. Less can often be more. Sometimes just having a song sung acapella can sound more beautiful than when that voice is accompanied by an orchestra. If you appreciate that kind of music, that doesn't mean that you are unable to appreciate complex music.

But Justin Bieber is just... Argh. If it wasn't for the fact that it was written by people who know what they are doing and produced by people who know music, I wouldn't even call that music. But that's pop music for you. Purposely written on the level of the average person, so it can appeal to a greater crowd... (Which really suggests that pop music is in fact more complex than any other kind of music, since it is written and produced with a hidden agenda while less popular genres are just "pure and simple" )

Right. I'll shut up now. *puts foot back in mouth*

I think the effect lechien is speaking of is the reverb on your voice in the song posted.

Your song is cool.
