OK. I'm coming to grips with myself. I am obsessive. I obsess over any guy I'm interested in. Ambiguity is the bane of my existence. I'd prefer I just be let down quick and immediately rather than linger in emotional purgatory.I've got mars in scorpio in the 10th conjunct saturn. this makes it difficult to impossible for me to change my course once i'm going in a certain direction. this translate to, if i'm interested in a guy or have started some type of relationship, i MUST see it through to its end. i need resolution and clarity. the cold hard facts. don't spare my feelings. yea, i'm sensitive and can be vindictive occasionally. but most times i'll move on. i mean, i definitely can cut any feelings off like a limb that needs amputation. and with my aries moon, i'm resilient. it'll grow back... oh but i hate the fact that my mind just won't stop! ugh! ------------------

Hahaha! It doesn't help that that Saturn/Mars conjunction is ruling my chart. I'm Capricorn rising with Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and Neptune in Capricorn. The latter two are conjunct my Ascendant.... dangerous! LOL ------------------

How would you say the Mars/Saturn conjunction colors your chart? Im interested because I have a Saturn/Uranus conjunction in Sag and I am in many ways an atypical Cap Rising. IP: Logged |

when things aren't clear or don't go my way, i have this compulsion to just cut it out. like a surgery. quick and incisive.what is the remedy. i guess i just match best with people who are straight forward. although, that usually turns me off because i'm usually not interested in those people. it doesn't help that neptune is in my SR 7th house this year. confusion surely does abound. AND i've got Leo rising on the SR, of course there are plenty of men. but its like cereal that's been in milk too long. mushy, confusing, disgusting and annoying! ------------------

i feel much more scorpio than anything. especially since the conjunction occurs in my 10th house AND pluto is conjunct my midheaven. scorpio and capricorn are compatiable in some ways but kinda dangerous, ya know? i mean the drive and and focus of both of those signs could mean for much success...eventually. or it could mean much obsession, power and control issues etc. there are definitely both in me. It is showing because every guy i am really into these days is a scorpio. there have been 3. 1 had is sun on my pluto. the 2nd two are on my mars/saturn conjunction. it is the best and worst feeling. ------------------

and its interesting too...its like i need something to be obsessed with. if a guy is ignoring me, i'll be obsessed with work. if work is slow, i'll be obsessed with a guy. or with getting work. balance is difficult for me. all of these things are scorpio/pluto saturn/capricorn keywords... ------------------

I've got Pluto in the 10th myself and I've recently figured out via a pluto transit that the drive and focus is there when I feel motivated enough to access it.  Capricorn and Scorpio seem to have alot in common in tha respect so it would make sense that they're being reinforced in you. I also agree that that the combo can be dangerous in alot of ways (ie. business in a certain state is pretty much run by the mafia). IP: Logged |

I feel like Capricorn and Scorpio balance each other nicely and make each other much better people than they are individually.This is how it is working out in my own life ^ I have Capricorn Mars and he has Scorpio Mars. I am much calmer than he is.
Because he feels so comfortable with me - it makes him less emotional, less obssessive. He's just happy around me. Our energies are so perfectly in tune. And when people feel happy, they project the best of themselves to others. This is the same with my friends who have this Mars and also my mother and my grandmother (who also have this Mars in sextile with mine). They are all MUCH more emotional people than I am...
I feel like I instantly *relax* them... by being there. My presence is soothing -- so their emotions calm down and they feel safe and understood. Scorpio, on the other hand is very passionate and their passion makes Capricorn feel alive. Everything you mentioned in your initial paragraph.. I DO.. All of that... (And I really feel this is a trait of my Capricorn Mars). quote:

I dated a sag with a capricorn mars. and although there was no official commitment, just fun times. i NEVER ever had obsessive thoughts or feelings about him. somehow i was always chill with him. we had fun but i never felt insecure so i never got to the dark scorpio place. i don't like that place. its hard to escape...ya know. i don't know that i've had relationships with any other cappy mars... ------------------

Electricmind-I have the exact same aspect (in fact, I have a very similar chart to you); Mars conjunct Saturn in the tenth, in Scorpio, and I agree with how you feel. It's almost like the obsessions turn into punishment, if that makes sense? IP: Logged |

I am another except mine is a wide conjunction with Saturn (8 degrees) and my Mars conjuncts my MC but sits in the 10th, Scorpio. I have the same issue, especially with seeing relationships through to the end, or at least having cold hard facts with closure and reasoning behind it lol. I will pursue it if it's not freely given. :/ But am normally good at moving on once I have the closure I seek. And normally it has to be a good reason too, nothing wishy washy :P (gemini suns and I never have good relationship endings as they normally don't want to give a reason if they are the ones ending it). One thing I do like about my Mars/Saturn conjunction is Scorpio is that I can turn my sex drive on and off with a mere flip of a switch.When I am hot, I can burn with a passion that never dies. But when I'm cold...well I'm just not in the mood. And it doesn't bother me. I actually like it because I never feel ruled by it. Now, don't get me wrong. There are times when I am just over come with it. But that is usually when I have a partner and he's just not around at the moment. I'm good to keep it burning till he comes around. ------------------
